Very interesting part of Europe. Enjoyed Poland and Hungary and the history of these particular areas. Xmas was a great time to do this trip as we visited Xmas markets along the way, these are not to be missed especially coming from a hot climate. The accommodation was brilliant, with the exception of the Bellevue Hotel in Vienna. However this is due ...read more to close in the near future. People from the trip got bedbugs and the rooms (including our own) were not cleaned from the previous guests and was disgusting to say the least. Thankfully we were only here for one night. Overall a great trip and I would book Cosmos again and would definitely use Global Journeys in the future. (This was our second trip through both companies).

As a solo mature traveller I found this tour to be of a good pace and very well organised. I really enjoyed the numerous countries that we covered and would recommend this tour highly, there was a blend of ages from teenagers with their grandparents to my mature age, we had a lot of fun and the tour was full of interesting history and facts as we covered ...read more the numerous countries. I would highly recommend this tour if you are a solo traveller or coupled and found that it offered highlights that were of interest to all.

Overall, the combination of hassle-free booking, a really well-paced tour, an excellent tour director, and the many wonderful places visited, outweighed any inconveniences we encountered. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and would do it again.

The tour was great, and we had a fabulous time. Comos, tour director and driver all fantastic. All hotels were good. All people on tour were great and so much fun meet some wonderful new people. We all were fairly exhausted at the end as it was pretty full on with so much to see.

An excellent tour with many inclusions. The Tour Director was very knowledgeable and everything went very smoothly at all times. The design of the tour was very good covering so many countries.

Hannah was very helpful in assisting me with the organisation of this tour and was more than happy to arrange a further 2 nights accomodation after the tour ended. Both Geoffrey and I thought the tour was well organised and good value for money. Most of the hotels were a good class of accommodation except there were a couple that could have been better. It seems that we had a mixture of 2, 3 and 4 star hotels instead of them being all the same class. A couple of the hotels had very small rooms and small showers ...read more but most of the hotels were in great locations. We especially enjoyed staying at the Aquincum hotel in Budapest with the indoor pool, spa and gym. The tour guide Osman, was very friendly, humorous, attentive and was exceptional at helping with any questions or problems that we had. Franco was a great driver with a good sense of honour and good interaction with the passengers and with Osman that helped to make the journey very entertaining. The whole tour was well organised and I feel we would have certainly not seen as much as we did if we had not gone on a coach tour holiday. Some of the local tour guides where very difficult to understand due to their accent and that they talked very quickly. The guide that we had in Budapest was especially difficult. He had a very heavy accent and spoke in a very low, monotone voice so doubly difficult to trying to understand him. As we couldn't understand him we tuned out and that part of the tour was boring. We also felt that some of the local tour guides placed too much emphasis on the history of the war and although we realise that is a significant part of their history we do not need to know a lot of dates of events as we would not remember them.

Georgie was efficient and courteous as always. The tour was enjoyable despite a few days of pouring rain. Some of the hotels were not centrally located and were a little old and tired but this did not detract from the overall tour experience.

We are both very happy with the tour. The tour guide, Sonja, and driver Conrad were absolutely fabulous. Hotels were all excellent. And the actual tour 6070 is very well thought out and delivered.

All our accommodation was excellent except for the Tryp Hotel in Munich which was very ordinary and in a seedy location. Some of our 'local guides' while very expert in what they do, deluged us with info i.e. too many dates etc. Overall we were very happy with the tour although it should be called a thirteen day tour, not fifteen, as nothing happened ...read more on the first and last days.

The itinerary was good - it provided me with a taste of each country. One of the best things about the tour was our guide Dodi (Dubvranka) - she was excellent!

As a winter tour we spent far too many hours travelling in the bus. The tour could have possibly gone over 16-18 days rather than 15. I would also like to express my appreciation of the tour guide as I had food poisoning while on the tour and she went well beyond her role as guide to assist me.

Yvonne handled the arrangements very professionally and everything went like clockwork with no hitches at all. The extra two days I spent in Frankfurt before the tour began were well worth the effort and I was fully out of jetlag and able to commence the tour with body and mind in Germany. A couple of the hotels left a lot to be desired from either being much too far out of town or not up to an acceptable standard. The tour guide (Arna) was every helpful with hints of places to purchase mementos and have a meal, often the local culinary delight. Mustafa, the bus driver, was excellent and these two helped to make the tour a delight. The coach was comfortable and roomy. Arna's history lessons of the places that were visited or driven through or passed by were very informative and assisted in gaining a view of the people and places that we travelled through and visited. I enjoyed the tour immensely and would recommend it to other people that showed an interest. My only proviso is that I believe that the tour is more suited to a couple or group than a single person travelling alone. I often was left out like a shag on a rock.

A most enjoyable tour through Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Austria by Cosmos Tours. We had an excellent Tour Director and careful driver, Mustapha.
