We had a fabulous tour guide Matt. He was a wonderful driver, we were amazed at his backing skills, he gave a very interesting commentary, he was patient, kind and amusing. He is an asset to CIE - they should give him a raise! Tour was wonderful and we will certainly book again and strongly recommend CIE Tours to others. We have done many coach tours but this one was the best.
CIE Tours offered an exceptional holiday experience. I have travelled the world, always independently, and was hesitant about booking an escorted tour. However, it was a 40th birthday present from my husband and we booked the Irish Odyssey tour for 11-22 April. In a nutshell, the tour was phenomenal! There were so many unexpected experiences, like making read more great new friends with our travel companions. The weather was fantastic, the service was great, and I canÆt say enough good things about our tour guide, Jim McCormack. The wealth of knowledge he shared throughout the trip was impressive and made for an unforgettable experience. Before the trip, I had not even thought about how important the guide would be, but it soon became clear that Jim made the tour such a success. IÆm sure all CIE guides are highly trained, but they have a gem with Mr. McCormack. Everyone from the tour has kept in touch and JimÆs name comes up as part of our discussions. IÆm already looking into booking another CIE tour with a friend. ItÆs rare not to have some complaints about a trip, but I donÆt have a single one thanks to CIE. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
Declan Ryan, our guide and driver in Ireland introduced us to his delightful country with warmth and humour. We learned so much about the turbulent history, the interesting aspects of the culture and saw the beauty of the land in the hands of a skilled driver, Declan. We applaud him and will savour the memories he helped to create during our 9 day stay.

Six of us from Singapore took the 9 day Irish Explorer trip. The tour exceeded all our expectations. The food was great and accommodation was excellent. The itinerary was designed to be easy and relaxing. The key word was æno rushÆ and that was what we expected on a holiday. At the Meyrick Hotel in Galway we were upgraded to a suite! The price was great read more value for money. The Driver and Guide was Robert Glynn a seasoned professional. He was courteous and indeed a real pro. We now know of a good operator that we can rely on for future holidays.
My wife and I have just returned home from a very memorable tour CIE tour of Ireland. We had a wonderful trip largely due to the outstanding tour guide Liam Murray and the superb driver Sean Flood - a real credit to CIE and the Irish Tourist Board. We saw lovely towns, cities and sights in Dublin, Galway, Killarney and Waterford and even the weather read more was kind to us despite being the first tour of the CIE 2015 season. All the very best and we hope to return to Ireland one day, meanwhile rest assured we will tell our family and friends both in England and Spain that the tour was excellent. Highly recommended.
