Amazing in every way possible 1

Our tour was amazing in every way possible. There was not one thing to fault. It was fun and we did not want the holiday to end. Our Tour Director Ian was fantastic. He had a world of knowledge and was fun and enjoyable to be around. Our bus driver Neil was fantastic as well. Our group got on so well and loved it so much we all want to do a reunion read more tour. We will definitely do another CIE tour in the future and recommend to others to do.
This was a fantastic vacation. The drivers and tour guides were very informative, charming and fun, especially Pat and Eamon. We were in London during the attack and CIE checked with our guide to make sure everyone was safe. Edinburgh had a record making rainfall while we were visiting, but it was still fun. I took the opportunity to post a little everyday read more into my Facebook page-and it was only a little of all the activities. Thank you CIE.
I joined a tour leaving and returning from Dublin, heading south. What a great experience to see such wonderful locations, supported by a driver and guide with excellent knowledge of the history of Ireland. The stories and education were the best and our driver did not overload us with microphone conversation whilst on the bus. The accommodation was read more just as expected and not disappointing on the whole. I have only one location visited, which I might consider worth dropping, but otherwise every detail was both interesting and beautiful in its own way. A highlight was definitely the Medieval banquet dinner at Bunratty Castle I thought. What a lovely experience. This tour group really know what they are doing. The coach was comfortable and considering our big group (which the driver admitted) we all got on superbly well and no problems with him handling such a large group. No better way to really see Ireland and much better than any sort of self drive. The timetable is necessary to travel this way but the education and places found are beyond any self drive vacation.

I am currently on a 23 day tour (my first time) travelling great Britain and Ireland. Our tour guide is Ian Short and driver Kevin Clancy. I wish to convey what a fabulous trip due to these individuals who are very thoughtful, professional and informative. They bring together warmth, humour and respect towards each other and to the guest on the tour. read more I feel very fortunate to have these individuals as part of my life's journey, as a person who is involved with the public these men are top notch. A credit to CIE. These men really made the tour and are an awesome team together.

Our tour was excellent and we had a wonderful time. Our Tour Guide, Eamonn, was outstanding and very knowledgeable. He embodies everything Irish. He had us laughing the whole trip. We truly had a lot of fun and learned a lot about Scotland and Ireland. Thanks Eamonn and CIE.
Our tour started out with a little bus trouble, but our excellent bus driver Frank Foster had another bus and driver to us in no time at all and we were on our way to tour Dublin. I was thoroughly impressed with our 9 day adventure from start to finish. All of the sites and stops were full of so much history and beauty. The hotels we stayed at and meals read more we were served were all high quality. Ireland is truly a beautiful country and I hope to return one day. I want to thank Frank Foster for his knowledge of the history of his country that he shared so eloquently. We all appreciated his sense of humour and his concern that we were all having a wonderful time. If all the drivers at CIE care like Frank, CIE is very fortunate. I was one happy customer.
I have been going on tours for the last 8 years. This has been the best - by far - of any tours. Full marks to Shuan (guide) and Sammy (driving) for giving me the best tour ever.
Our tour driver and guide was Noel. His knowledge of Irish History was excellent and his driving ability amazing. Noel's story telling and sense of humour was also excellent. I would recommend anyone travelling Ireland to link up with Noel of CIE Tours and ask for Noel to be your director/driver.
We just got back from our Ireland tour and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. CIE picked all the right places! Our tour director, Ken O'Connell made the trip magically come alive. His knowledge of Ireland and Irish history was invaluable. His comedic flair made traveling a joy. Also, our driver, Dan Fitzgerald was worth his weight in gold, always cheerful, read more full of knowledge and drives that big coach with such precision that we always felt safe and knew we'd arrive and depart on time for the next adventure. They were super! Thanks to all for the trip of a life time.

My 2 young daughters and I enjoyed a wonderful bus tour a few weeks ago around Ireland, thank you very much to the bus driver David. I will highly recommend these tours to my friends and I would love to do another one with CIE one day. Thank you for the wonderful memories!
Thank you CIE, absolute value for money. We learnt so much about so many different things. An absolute whirlwind tour which circumnavigated the entire country in 7 days. Thank you to Dave, our driver/guide; an absolute gentleman, with the Irish touch in his humour, oh and I think he has kissed the Blarney Stone more than once. A fantastic week was had read more by all. The history of Ireland and the fantastic nature of the Irish people made the tour even more enjoyable. The motels were fantastic and the mountains of food were amazing. Barring a couple of very minor hiccups it was a fantastic tour. We highly recommend it and we can't wait for our next tour with CIE.
We have just completed the Scottish Dream Tour with Annika and Ramon commencing 9/4/2017. We would like to acknowledge the exceptional service we received from these two guides. It made our trip even more enjoyable and memorable. We are grateful to Annika and Ramon for a job well done. We would definitely recommend CIE Tour company to family and friends.
We are safe and sound back on Australian soil and I already miss Ireland. I would like to thank CIE and especially Lloyd for a wonderful holiday tour, I will cherish the time. Lloyd is a credit to CIE, his knowledge and his love of his homeland (especially Cork...lol), made the tour much more enjoyable for me and my wife. I wouldn't hesitate to use read more CIE again in the future and I would love to have Lloyd as my guide again. Thank you CIE again for a great time and thank you Lloyd for a holiday full of craic.

My wife and I just finished a CIE tour of Ireland (Irish Heritage Tour). I just want to say that the tour was great. We had an amazing time, though that would not have been possible without our amazing tour director, Pat Hanrahan, and driver, Declan Ryan. They were great. We really can't say enough good things about them. Pat was one of the most intelligent read more people I have ever met. He was able to recite hours and hours of relevant Irish history, from names and dates to events. It was extremely interesting. Declan was a great, courteous, and safe driver. It is tour guides like these, authentic people that know their country, love their country, and love doing these tours that make CIE great.
A terrific tour that gave a real insight of the true Ireland. Having lived through the 'troubles' in England in the 70s it was very enlightening to hear the other side of the story. Our hotels were of a good standard with very helpful staff and our luggage was always where it should be. On our trip we were extremely lucky to have Frank as our driver/guide read more who was a wealth of knowledge and an extremely good driver plus he had a lovely dry wit. He was the icing on the cake for our trip.

We did the Irish Explorer tour in March. We usually travel semi-independently but decided to take a chance on an organised group tour for a change. So glad we chose CIE Tours. The arrangements were seamless, and all aspects of the tour itself were superb and, from our perspective, great value for money. Most of the accommodations exceeded our expectations, read more the included meals were all of a high quality, and the tour inclusions were excellent. We particularly liked the policy of rotating seats on the bus each day. We were a smaller group of 34, so there were spare seats on the coach anyway, but we understand that CIE ensures there are always a couple of empty seats to add to everyone's comfort in peak season. The guide and driver was Brian Hanrahan, and we can't praise him enough. Thoroughly skilled and professional, patient and good humoured, but always keeping the group on track to meet the schedule. His affable nature helped the group (age range mid 20's to mid 70's) to bond and cooperate in a quite amazing way during the tour. If we undertake a future tour in Ireland, England or Scotland, we won't look beyond CIE Tours.
Having travelled with CIE in the past we knew the itinerary would be wonderful, completely filled with comfortable hotels, delicious food, and of course a full schedule and photo opportunities. The one thing that makes CIE better than other tour companies is their staff. Each of our tour guides were fun, informative and brought Ireland to life, but read more the person who really made this trip extraordinary was our driver/guide Murt. He made sure we found the best local food and fun every day. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer. He made us feel like family. I've been to Ireland before but learning its history and stories from Murt made me appreciate and love the country a hundred times more.
We just finished the Irish Adventure tour. What a wonderful time we had! We got a very intensive look at the country of Ireland. We learned a lot about Irish history and though we are not officially done yet, we can't say enough about how nice our accommodations have been, how good the food has been and how informative our tour guide was. Our tour guide, read more Frank Foster, was great. He was very knowledgeable and that made the trip even more enjoyable. We honestly can't pick out one thing that we liked the most. We liked it all! Would we use CIE Tours again? Most definitely, yes!
A brochure can only give you so much, but the trip itself went above and beyond expectations! I was the only South African placed with this group and also the youngest amongst the hipper older generation. But I loved every minute of it. I became the 'Tech Expert' with all their fancy cameras and cell phones. But despite that I have made incredible friends read more for life and all because of eight days in Ireland. There was never a dull moment, always crazy moments!
Completed the Taste of Britain & Ireland Tour on 27 July and had a fantastic time. From the hotels, meals and inclusions, everything was top notch. We loved that there were no optional extras. Our Guide Damian McKenna was tops - so obliging and made everyone feel so comfortable and relaxed, nothing was a problem to him, and we had every confidence in read more our driver Dave who was great.
