Bunnik Tours
Bunnik Tours is a family business with a focus on crafting itineraries that really get to the heart of all that a destination has to offer through a balance more of organised sightseeing, special local experiences and time for independent exploration. We know that some of the best experiences are when you wander away from the group and make your own discoveries.

In creating our small group tours, we are driven by two guiding principles. First, everything we do is about your experience, which is why we only run tours with a maximum of 20 people – that’s less time waiting, more time exploring. Second, when done properly, tourism can be an incredible force for good that generates economic and social benefits in the places we visit.

What our clients are saying about their journeys to Spain
Best tour I’ve had Spain & Portugal Escape , QLD, Australia, Nov 2025
I went on Spain & Portugal tour in Nov-Dec 2025 and enjoyed it so much that I’m now thinking on taking another Spain tour with Globus (this time with Granada) in this year 😀. The best tour director (Angel Diaz) who looked after each of us like a mother (it’s a he anyway). The only downside was the hotel in Seville; I’m just hoping that when I book another read more Spain tour this year I won’t get the same hotel.
A good introduction to Spain and Portugal Classic Spain & Portugal , NSW, Australia, Oct 2025
Both Spain and Portugual have been on my to do list for quite some time! They did not disappoint! The 3 week trip with Intrepid, consisted of 2 smaller trips (8 days - Northern Spain) and 15 days (Classic Spain and Portugual), so our guide and group changed after the first week. In this first week, we caught public trains and buses which was generally read more good. However, when we arrived in a city/town like Palermo, we caught local buses to our hotel. These were often crowded and you got the distinct impression that the locals were not happy having 12 travellers with their luggage on board! This problem was solved in the next part of the tour, which used taxis/UBER to ferry us from a bus or train station to the hotel. This was far more confortable. I would also say that the hotels were only OK and generally not very centrally located (Granada, Lisbon and Porto were exceptions). Despite this, they had good access to public transport. Our local guides were excellent and had a good knowledge of food, culture and history. I would recommend this trip but make sure you know what you are getting for your money!
Highlights of Spain and Portugal Highlights of Spain and Portugal (Winter) , SK, Canada, Sep 2025
Everything about our trip was absolutely wonderful! From the easy booking with Nina to the expert tour guidance from Kylee to the more than capable driving skills of Paulo, it was all excellent. Hotels were amazingly clean and quiet. I would definitely book with Trafalgar again!
Northern Spain Adventure Northern Spain , NSW, Australia, Sep 2025
Stunning towns and wonderful architecture. Accommodation was okay however a few of the hotels were located way out of the town centre. The optional meals were really disappointing and having to pay extra for city tours seems unreasonable. Travelled in September thinking that this would mean less crowds but this was not the case. Also, a full bus makes read more the trip difficult with no room to spread out and longer comfort stops. Again, Grace, from Global Journeys was really helpful in the booking our two trips.
Spain & Portugal Premium Spain & Portugal , NSW, Australia, Sep 2025
Having done a few Intrepid tours, we knew what to expect. We had a great group of travellers but our tour leader in the Spain section was very inexperienced and it showed. For a premium tour, you would expect more from Intrepid.
Fantastic Tour of Spain & Portugal Colours of Spain , SA, Australia, Sep 2025
What a fantastic tour! Arriving into Barcelona a day early was definitely a good plan enabling me to participate in a couple of additional experiences. The tour through Spain had many highlights. Alhambra Palace and the accommodation we had stand out. I really enjoyed the walking tours in each city and these were balanced with free time providing an read more opportunity to return to attractions. We had two nights in most places and with most hotels well located, it enabled easy access to restaurants, attractions and getting a feel for the city.

The included experiences were fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the flamenco show with dinner in Seville, the olive oil farm with tour, tasting and lunch and the visit to the Royal Equestrian School. The included breakfasts and highlight lunches and dinners were fabulous but it was also great to have the chance to try local restaurants with other tour group members. I would definitely recommend this Travelmarvel tour. The Tour Director Barbara and coach driver as well as all of our local guides were excellent. I was also very grateful to Grace from Global Journeys who booked my trip, made enquiries on my behalf and answered all questions I had throughout the booking process. All went smoothly.
