Itinerary

Your journey begins today as you arrive in Toronto. You'll be met on arrival at the airport and transferred to your hotel, located in the heart of the action in downtown Toronto. Stay Two Nights: Toronto, Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre

A Welcome Breakfast gives the chance to meet your fellow guests and Travelmarvel Tour Director. Then join a city tour that will take you to the picturesque waterfront districts of Toronto.

Afterwards, travel to see the spectacular sight of Niagara Falls, which is collectively made up of three impressive waterfalls. From here, you'll board a thrilling boat cruise for a journey to the base of Horseshoe Falls (raincoats provided). This is the largest of the three falls. You might also like to take an exciting helicopter flight for aerial views over Niagara Falls (own expense). (B)

Continue on your journey to Ottawa today. Along the way, enjoy a cruise around the 1000 Islands of the St Lawrence Seaway. Cruise past tiny islands, castles reminiscent of fairytales and island mansions. You'll be taken back to a time when pirates and bootleggers roamed the area, as well as the Gilded Age, when the rich and famous made this region their personal playground. Later, enjoy this evening's Insider Experience. Stay Two Nights: Ottawa, Lord Elgin Hotel (B/D)

Insider Experience: Tonight exciting dinner at Oh Canada Eh? will have you singing along to Canadian-inspired songs over a delicious meal.

The first half of the day will be dedicated to discovering the treasures of Ottawa. Enjoy a guided sightseeing tour, during which you will visit the Gothic Parliament Hill and visit the historic Rideau Canal, which winds its way through the heart of the city. The rest of the day is yours to explore at leisure. (B)

After breakfast this morning, your journey continues to Quebec City.

This afternoon, enjoy a drive-through experience in Parc Omega. As your vehicle winds through the park, passing meadows, lakes and forests, watch for wildlife, like moose, deer and wolves.

This evening, there's time to relax and perhaps dine at a local restaurant. Stay Two Nights: Quebec City, Hotel Manior Victoria (B)

Spend today however you like. Consider choosing one of the select experiences available. You might like to unwind on a relaxing cruise along the St Lawrence River or explore Quebec City on an informative guided walking tour (own expense). Enjoy an Insider Experience this evening. (B/D)

Insider Experience: Tonight, delight in a hearty Quebecois dinner at a local sugar shack and learn all about the intricacies of maple syrup production.

Farewell Quebec City after breakfast this morning and travel to Montreal.

On arrival, check into your hotel. Then there's time to get to know this European-influenced city during an afternoon sightseeing tour. You'll discover a quintessentially French city, which excels at blending both old and new, from the elegant cobblestone streets of Old Montreal to the city's contemporary waterfront. Stay Two Nights: Montreal, Marriott Chateau Champlain (B)

Enjoy today as you choose. You might like to either spend time relaxing at your hotel or continue exploring. Montreal offers an array of culinary and cultural attractions, thanks to its French influence, eclectic food scene and famous festival line up.

This evening, meet with your fellow travellers to enjoy a special Farewell Dinner. (B/D)

This morning after breakfast, transfer and board your premium ship for your New England voyage. There's time to settle in and enjoy the array of amenities available. Stay Seven Nights: Holland America Line's Zaandam or Zuiderdam (B/D)

This morning, dock in beautiful Quebec City and enjoy this French-influenced city's many highlights before reboarding for an afternoon departure. (B/L/D)

After breakfast this morning, enjoy a leisurely day cruising the beautiful Gulf of St Lawrence, defined by stunning coastline. (B/L/D)

Prince Edward Island may be Canada's smallest province, but it's big on history. With time at leisure, perhaps visit the island's capital of Charlottetown to delve into the region's past. Alternatively, you may prefer to see the Anne of Green Gables homestead and enjoy time at this well-known literary landmark, set in pretty surrounds (own expense). (B/L/D)

Spend the day in and around Sydney on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. Where the island's French-influenced name belies its Celtic connections. You will discover cheerfully colourful highland villages, the beautiful coastal scenery of the Cabot Trail, as well as the Fortress of Louisbourg, which was once one of North America's busiest 18th-century seaports. (B/L/D)

For ocean scenery at its best, it is hard to beat Nova Scotia's south shore. Arrive in Halifax this morning, with free time to perhaps visit Peggy's Cove and the German village of Lunenburg. Then head back to Halifax where you might like to visit the ramparts of Halifax Citadel or a museum which commemorates the Titanic. (B/L/D)

Cross into the United States and arrive in New England's Bar Harbor, once the exclusive summer resort of America's fabulously wealthy. Today, Bar Harbor is an artists' enclave and gateway to the natural beauty of Acadia National Park, much of which was donated by the Rockefeller family. (B/L/D)
