Our 4-day escapade begins today! After meeting your Contiki team here at Jackson Hole, you'll take a drive to the first national park on our list… Here in Grand Teton, our first stop will be the majestic mountain range – checking out wildlife, pristine lakes, and spectacular mountain peaks. Keep your camera close too, because today you'll get to snap true geographical wonders like Jackson Lake Dam & Jenny Lake.
We'll bed down in Jackson Hole for the night, with plenty more wonder in store for us tomorrow. But before that, if you want a taste of what the cowboy life's like - opt in for a horseback trail ride.
Today we're headed from Jackson Hole towards somewhere that might even be more spectacular (bold claim, but we back it). Welcome to the world's first National Park: a majestic mountain wilderness, home to grizzly bears, buffalo and wolves too – as well as canyons, glaciers, waterfalls and volcanoes. Here we'll check out iconic landmarks like Old Faithful and the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring.
After a full day of oh-so-wholesome National Parks, we'll head back to our accommodation for the night. Didn't see everything you wanted? No sweat – we'll be back again in the morning.
Rise and shine! We've got more Yellowstone adventures in store for today. (Lucky us.) We've got a full free day here in Yellowstone, giving you the chance to check out everything you missed yesterday. If you're on the lookout for some unmissable activities, you can join us as we check out mud volcanoes, hot springs, majestic viewpoints and so much more. Goodbye Yellowstone, you've been incredible! Next stop, back to Jackson Hole for a well-earned rest.
On your final day in Jackson Hole, you'll have the chance to go out with a bang. That's right, we're talking an epic optional activity: white water rafting on the Snake River. After that, you're free to make your way home or onwards to your next adventure. (We know which one we'd choose…)

- Explore Grand Teton National Park – Escape from the daily grind in this tranquil spot. Complete with wild bison and a backdrop of snowy peaks.
- Take a Hike Around Jenny Lake – Aquamarine water, snow-capped peaks, and views so good they make poets emotional. Grab your crew, hit the trail, and let nature steal the show.
- Visit Yellowstone National Park – A photographer’s dream! See all of the natural wonders: Old Faithful geyser, Grand Prismatic Pool and Yellowstone Canyon.
- Check Out the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring – When in Yellowstone… you HAVE to go see the largest hot spring in the US (and the third largest in the world).
- Watch Old Faithful 'Go Off' – Why do they call it ‘Old Faithful’, you ask? Well, that’s because you can rely on this world-famous geyser to produce an eruption of boiling water at regular intervals. And today we’ll witness this natural wonder for ourselves.
- Visit the Fountain Paint Pots – This magnificent multi-coloured mud pot is sure to manifest itself in your memories for months and months.
- See Oxbox Bend, Jackson Lake & Jackson Lake Dam – Catch a moment of peace on the shores of these idyllic and quiet lakes. Walk, sit, admire, this moment in this place is yours.
- Another Included Entry into Yellowstone National Park – So you can forget waiting around in the line!
- Marvel at the Yellowstone Canyon – 24 miles long and 1,200 feet deep, this really is a site to behold.
- See the Upper and Lower Falls of the River – Waterfalls you’ll fall for, coming right up.
- See the Mud Volcano and Dragon's Mouth Spring – Tick two of Mother Nature’s quirkiest creations off your list… and watch out for the steam!
- Take a Hike to Artist Point – If the hike ain’t worth it for the fresh air, it’s definitely worth it for the epic views awaiting you at Artist Point. Make sure your camera is fully charged – you’ll want to take plenty of pics here.
