- Explore the wilderness with a local guide on the lookout for bison, foxes and birds. Or, take a guided walk along the back trails to learn about the local flora and fauna.
Explore the city with a local before a drive through the downtown area to Yellowknife's original settlement. Jump aboard a boat and cruise over Great Slave Lake. Wave to local house boats, watch for birds, and see float planes land and take off. Back at Aurora Village this evening, gather once more in the hope of watching the northern lights shimmer into the night.
