Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. So many fabulous places and things to see. Tour guide and coach driver were very knowledgeable and attentive to all passengers. Tour inclusions such as river cruises and glass bottomed boat cruise were fabulous.

Global Journeys and Travel Marvel made our holiday thoroughly enjoyable. The overall service from booking the holiday and experiencing the river cruise lifestyle was everything we thought it would be and more. Our cruise was made with another couple. Leading up to the cruise four of us traveled through EU with a hire car /B&B for 18 days. On the second night we happened to dine with two ladies from APT and they were very interested in our observations and again they confirmed that the TravelMarvel style market segment is well positioned and is growing solidly. We can see why! We did have to do a 'boatswap' at Passau - bused to Nuremberg, due to low water levels in the Main Canal. This was expertly and professionally handled (Diamond Jewel). Float plane from whistler to Victoria is the best optional excursion we paid for. We were left behind to catch up with our sleep while other people caught the coach to Victoria. When the schedule flight time comes, we just jumped in the plane and it only took 120mins to get to Victoria. The float plane flew low enough to view the glacier and other scenery. ...read more We even did a whale watching excursion in Victoria while waiting for others.

Select tours offered but not of interest. Food was excellent. Wine quality included was adequate but premium wine available needs review. I bought a bottle that had obviously been exposed to heat. The premium collection if it is to be offered needs to be kept in a wine fridge.

A relaxing and pleasant way to see this part of Europe. The cruise director, Herbert, was excellent, as were all the staff. They were incredibly attentive and helpful at all times. We really enjoyed the Budapest Illumination experience. as well as the numerous stops in so many cities and villages. The ship was very comfortable. Our feedback is the trip was very good except there was very little commentary as it was a replacement guide and if this had been made public knowledge we could have been more understanding. We had a driver who had done this tour two years ago so he had some knowledge so that is really the only commentary we received. We didn't even have hot water and it really no better than a backpackers . All other accommodation and food was really nice. Back to the beginning is most people go on a tour for the commentary. We had the best holiday. Everything went smoothly. We loved not having to worry about our luggage etc. Hotels were awesome especially the last hotel we stayed in as it had a washing machine in our room. We were able to get all our washing done before the cruise. The service was friendly everywhere. This is our first ever tour that we haven't organised ourselves and there are definitely pluses travelling this way. We are hopefully once my husbands medical issues are taken care of to do a Europe river cruise in the future. We would definitely travel through Global Journeys / Travelmarvel again. Some days we were provided with 3 large meals - 4 or 5 courses for lunch and dinner, this was too much food and wastage. Other days we were only provided with one meal. It would be better if we were provided with at least 2 meals every day and if there are 3, they should not all be so large. Otherwise an excellent trip, Chung was very helpful with a wide variety of requests from different travellers.

Super trip, great scenery, day trips were extremely good value the visit to the evening of classical music is something not to be missed perhaps it should be included as a standard trip for everyone. The Prague extension was great I could have spent many more days there, perhaps another day.

Our cruise - ship, staff, service, food, entertainment & tour guide Cherie, all brilliant. We were once again pleasantly surprised , good sized room with plenty of storage, bed & pillows sooo comfortable. Entertainment, well every night we sang, danced & had a drink or 2 with our new friends from NZ, Melbourne & Brissy, oh what fun. All up our trip with Travelmarvel was fantastic & we'd have no hesitation to travel & recommend to others. We very much enjoyed our tour to China. Accommodation and food were very good and safe. We have just returned from the best holiday destination possible. Everything from our booking with Global Journeys to our Travelmarvel Tour and the Holland America Cruise went without a hitch. We also upgraded to the Verandah Stateroom on the Cruise and once again was not disappointed. The highlight for me, was the surprise of a Lake View room given to all travellers on our tour, at Lake Louise. None of us new about the change until we opened the curtains, which in itself was amazing. I would not hesitate in recommending Global Journeys or Travelmarvel to anyone looking for an overseas holiday, and I will certainly be using both companies for future travels.

Transport to the cruise ship was provided to the other guests who were at the designated hotel. We could have made our way to the designated hotel for transportation to the river ship on the day of embarkation but this was not offered to us. We had to get to the dock where Travelmarvel Jewel was, a long distance away at our considerable expense.

Had a great time overall. Everything was well planned and went like clockwork. When a problem with Plan A cropped up (river too high to fit under bridge) Plan B swung into action. We were all kept informed/updated at all times. At no time did we feel inconvenienced. Thanks for your efforts in making this holiday as perfect as possible.

We both thoroughly enjoyed the cruise and the on-shore tours. The tours were both very interesting and were conducted at the right pace. We also enjoyed the free time we had at some of the stops and think that this is an important matter when considering future cruises. We certainly will travel with Travelmarvel again.

We had a great time and meet lots of good people on this, our first river cruise. Everything from start to finish was so good. The excursions daily were good value, plus if you wanted you could pay extra to see even more. Our cabin bed was of a very high standard. We loved TravelMarvel and when we do our next cruise they will be the company we use.

Rating Global Journeys as our travel agent, Hannah has represented you beautifully. A travel agent becomes the 'face of an organisation' and Hannah has represented you very well. All enquiries were promptly answered, particularly in the beginning as we did have questions, this being our first cruise. The trip was something we have wanted to do for a long time. But I have been dependent on a dialysis machine to keep me alive for a number of years. In March 2014 I was given a chance of a new life when I received a kidney transplant. Our cruise in March 2015 was a 1 year anniversary of that transplant and we experienced so much. What an anniversary we had!
