Wonderful river cruise experience   7 , NSW, Australia, Oct 2018
This was our first cruise trip and we'll definitely have more in the future. I wasn't aware of the dependency of European river cruise on weather before I booked this trip. It turned out the journey could have been ruined by the water level in the Rhine, Main and Danube. When the water level is too low due to drought, the tour company has to use coaches read more to transport passengers along the river. This will be accompanied by a daily check-in and check-out of hotels instead of staying in the same cabin throughout the whole trip. The water level indeed was too low in part of our cruise. Luckily Travelmarvel had a good contingency plan. They had two ships start from both ends at the same time. We had a ship swap in the middle where the water level was too low that the ships could not pass. We just packed our luggage on that day and it was moved to the same cabin on the other ship after our day excursion. It all happened seamlessly. I couldn't image if we had to finish the rest of our journey by coaches.

Scenery and trips were excellent, supported by the outstanding social directors-Roland and Adela were so professional, helpful and fun. The trips were interesting, well organised, and generally guides were sound. Home visit was fascinating.
Another hassle free holiday!   1 , NSW, Australia, Sep 2016
Another hassle free holiday arranged by Georgie. Had a great time met and made some wonderful friends and saw amazing sights. Our cruise director Petra did a fantastic job even when due to unforeseen circumstances last minute arrangements had to be made to get passengers to their departure points. All of the local guide were great and very informative.
Thoroughly enjoyable holiday 1 , WA, Australia, Jul 2015
Global Journeys and Travel Marvel made our holiday thoroughly enjoyable. The overall service from booking the holiday and experiencing the river cruise lifestyle was everything we thought it would be and more. The tour director Petra was fantastic and the entire staff on board were extremely helpful and courteous. The excursions we're very informative read more and the locations lovely. Amsterdam, Germany and the Austrian Lake District were our high lights. Definitely value for money.
Super trip, great scenery 2 , VIC, Australia , Jun 2015
Super trip, great scenery, day trips were extremely good value the visit to the evening of classical music is something not to be missed perhaps it should be included as a standard trip for everyone. The Prague extension was great I could have spent many more days there, perhaps another day.
An absolutely amazing time, could not believe the standard 3 , Australia, Jul 2014
My girlfriend travelled on this cruise and it was a first for both of us on a river cruise. We both had an absolutely amazing time and could not believe the standard of the entire organisation. There really was nothing to fault and the way our tour director, Gudrun, handled 160 guests leaving the ship in Bratislava instead of Budapest due to rapidly read more rising waters and a lock under repair was achieved with efficiency and with complete control. The many towns and villages we visited and the quality of the local tour guides was excellent and for me the added enjoyment was the availability on board of the bikes to explore the areas whilst we were docked. My girlfriend lives in the UK and was the only Brit on board, something she really enjoyed, and she can be very critical but even she could find no complaints! I would have no hesitation in recommending this cruise to anyone and furthermore I would like to say a special thank you to Michelle from Global Journeys for her friendly but professional assistance with the bookings. I sincerely hope I will need to use Global again once I am ready to book another trip somewhere.
