An amazing holiday with a great tour group. Our Tour Director, Alain, had a thorough knowledge of the history and what to see and do in every place we visited. Our bus driver, Guiseppe, was exceptional. Our hotels were very comfortable, clean and close to restaurants and shops. Our days were very busy and jam packed. I definitely finished this tour with a big smile and a thirst for more travel. This tour exceeded our expectations. Our Tour Director Patrick Sidney and Coach Driver Andreas were the most amazing people. Their professionalism, courtesy and knowledge was incredible and they made the tour all the more amazing. We had a fantastic experience with the Grand European Tour. The guide Patrick was excellent- well organised, caring and very knowledgeable. I believe he did things that are not generally expected of guides. The driver Mario was also excellent. A very good bunch of fellow travellers. Thank you.

We spent New Year's Eve with friends who were speaking excitedly about their coach tour through Europe with Trafalgar. We got the travel bug too, did some research and decided on a 21 day Grand European Tour with Trafalgar. I searched the net and up popped Global Journeys who appeared to be competitively priced for this tour and in fact were the cheapest ...read more I found. I rang and spoke to Hannah Campbell, she explained what I needed to do and from that moment on Hannah was our personal consultant at Global Journeys who handled our phone calls, emails, payments etc. Hannah was polite, efficient and always responded to our questions promptly if she couldn't answer straight away. We had a ball on our tour, we met new friends and everyone got on well with each other. I can recommend to anyone wishing to see Europe to speak with Global Journeys first.

I felt we were really well looked after by Trafalgar. The tour guide was exceptional. I felt we got to spend enough time in each place to get a good feel for it. The accommodation was great and the pace was not really restful but you know that before you go! Only complaint I thought that some of the 'included meals' could have been better and we should ...read more have been at least given a choice of menu instead of the set menu. An organised coach tour is a fabulous way to travel around Europe, its so much easier being dropped off at the 'packed' tourist sites, than having to find your own way there. The extra information given to us by our tour guides was amazing - you don't get that with independent travel. I was impressed that I was able to organise this trip via phone and internet with Global JOurneys, without having to step into a travel agency.

Brian and I have waited more than 20 years to do our first big European trip together, so we wanted it to be perfect and hassle free...it was! Our tour was brilliantly organised by Yvonne Brooks. The tour leader, Howard Hazecamp was excellent and informative. He was very well organised, and even the riots in Rome and a pheasant hitting our bus, did not spoil our trip. Everything went off without a hitch , which we put down to the organisation and attention to detail displayed from the moment we decided to travel! The tour itself was fantastic, we had a great group of people on our tour which made it so much fun. The hotels were excellent and the places we saw and the experiences were unforgettable. We loved The Mt Pilatus Excursion, The Seine and Rhine River Cruises, The Gondolas in Venice - where we were serenaded, Pompeii, Positano, Assisi, Florence, Rome and of course Paris. The city by night tour was spectacular, finishing with the sparkling Eiffel Tower which Howard, took us to as a grand finale. We were so impressed with Howard who always took the time to ensure that every person on the tour was satisfied, all questions were answered and each person felt comfortable. We have shared so many photos and stories with friends and family. One of the highlights was at the end of our tour when flying home we wanted to have a 2 night stopover to break up the trip. Yvonne suggested and organised lovely little details such as a car to pick us up from Hong Kong Airport to take us to the Harbour Grand Hotel, (where we felt like celebrities) . We felt so pampered and spoilt that we arrived home in Australia relaxed and not overly jet lagged. Even when Qantas grounded the Fleet , we emailed Yvonne who sent a prompt reply and some suggestions as to what to do. (The flights resumed the next day and we were not affected thankfully!) We hear so many horror stories about people's trips overseas and I have to say our was not one of them. We loved every minute of it. Everything went seamlessly and we would put that down to the professionalism and organisation of every person we dealt with from the moment we decided to book our holiday . Thank you to Global Journeys and Trafalgar, we will have so many memories to treasure and share and we will certainly be recommending your companies to colleagues, family and friends!

Patrick was a wealth of information and in-depth knowledge, ready to join in and make our holiday one to remember. At the end of our 3 weeks he sent us a massive number of photos in case we had not captured the image ourselves. All these years on I am sure travellers are still enjoy the wonders of Europe with Trafalgar.
