Being our third Trafalgar tour this one did not disappoint. It is a highly recommended tour to experience the highlights of the regions and select areas that one would like to explore further. Thank you Trafalgar and Hannah. :)

We had the best tour director and driver. They went out of their way to make us welcome, and also to make sure we had the best time. The number of people on the bus is a bit overwhelming. 51. This was important as this is not a leisurly trip by any means. If you want a slow gentle trip then try a less ambitious itinerary, and or a longer trip time. Having said that, we had free time in York, Edinburgh (almost 5 hours), Grasmere in Lakes District, Statford on Avon, Killarney (I think, somewhere between Dublin and Waterford), Belfast, Dublin (again up to 4 hours or more), and Bath, and at nights if we wished, as the day light stayed until 9pm at least. Mind you, I was pretty exhausted by all the things we did each day so no night life for me. I don't usually do guided tours, but combined with a lot of other free travelling, Trafalgar really fitted into what we wanted to accomplish and gave us more than we would be able to do alone.

Trafalgar Tour was excellent. Travel Director James Payne and driver Paul made everyone welcome and ensured an interesting and informative tour took place. Great locations both mainstream and off the beaten track. Excellent value for money. Global Journeys handled booking without a problem. Great service. Highly recommend both.

As the name says it was highlights so you were on and off the coach very quickly. It gave you a brief look at many things and makes you want to return to spend more time in certain areas. The coach driver and tour guide were fantastic. It was a great holiday.

Everything went very well, just some of the hotel amenities in various locations lacked from regular maintenance. The food and the optional experiences were excellent.

An fabulous tour. The tour guide Stephanie Glass was excellent! We enjoyed the experience very much. We had a great time and would recommend this tour to anybody.

Loved this tour. We luckily got one of the new coaches, they are super comfy. The Tour Director was really competent, really lovely and so well organised she made us all feel special. We visited so many fab places, I know I will do another tour.

The drivers were excellent and the Guide was great. Passengers were excellent company and we had a terrific time.

Destinations well planned - Tour Director, Chris Tremwell, was very knowledgeable in all the history of our tour. This is the part of a tour that I particularly enjoy, listening to the local history and stories. Trafalgar First Class tour of Best of Britain & Ireland Highlights for 8 days was excellent. The organisation was impeccable with tour guide Amy Pomeroy doing an extraordinary job of coordinating our arrivals at accommodation (our room keys were always ready within 5 minutes) and sight seeing destinations to ensure that all available time was accounted ...read more for in this jam packed adventure. Amy ensured travellers were aware of their duties with regard to punctuality etc and this made the trip even more enjoyable as we did not spend time waiting for people who overslept or overstayed at travel stops. Outstanding job Amy! Martin and John our drivers have amazing driving skills. We felt safe in their hands. The accommodation was excellent and comfortable. Our first tour experience! The tour through Britain and Ireland was at a fast pace - we covered 2300kms by coach in 8 days but ideal for our interest. The guide and driver were very professional and ensured that everything ran smoothly. We have lots of photos and many happy memories.
