A very well organised tour with Guide & driver excellent. The group, mainly Australian were lovely. I had done a Rockies Tour before but on the train and even though saw mainly the same places with the exception of Sun Peaks & Whistler, everything still looked beautiful, the last time Lake Louise was covered in ice, this time the most magnificent reflections ...read more as we had a perfect day. One of my highlights was the Peak 2 Peak Gondola in Whistler, you were so high, towering above the mountains on another perfect day. Overall it was a great trip and Global Journeys organisation of paperwork etc. was very good.

Would definitely recommend this trip. The itinerary included all the must see locations and stayed for 2 days at many of them. The accommodation and tour inclusions were all very good. Most of the optional tours were excellent and were some of the most memorable features of the trip.

I would also recommend booking through Global Journeys. A number of changes occurred after we booked (one of the hotels burnt down) and Global Journeys kept us informed at every step along the way.

Excellent coach tour as per usual. Very informative and friendly tour director along with the coach driver. Highly recommend as a way to get and see everything. We had a fantastic group on our coach and everyone got along.

The Canadian Rockies tour with Cosmos certainly did not disappoint. The scenery is absolutely amazing. Our tour began at the end of May and while there was lots of snow on the mountains, some of the lakes were still frozen. We were very lucky that Lake Louise had thawed only days before we arrived, so we were able to see all of its amazing reflections ...read more and beautiful colour. We did see some wildlife including bears and cubs. The hotels were all very clean and comfortable. Our coach was excellent and was driven by a very capable driver, Jim, who was always on the lookout for wildlife along the roads. This was our fifth trip organised by Global Journeys and touring with Cosmos and we are very impressed with both companies and will continue to use both in our future adventures.

Booking was easy and the consultant very informative. The tour director and driver were friendly, competent and approachable. Landscape and scenery outstanding. Accommodation very comfortable.

The tour was generally good with some excellent scenery in the Rockies. Our Tour experience was soured somewhat by the attitude of the Tour Director (Peter) who could not get the excursion bookings right for us and a number of other people. He consistently made errors with excursion bookings and would try and blame the passengers. He had an abrasive ...read more and sarcastic manner and tried to incorrectly bill us for an excursion we did not undertake. Our experience with Global Journeys was very good during the booking process. The Coach had 47 people plus the Tour Director and Driver which was too many to make for a comfortable journey particularly given the number of sight seeing stops that we had. I would give Cosmos another chance and hopefully would not encounter this type of character again.

Generally good and I enjoyed the trip. I will book again with Cosmos through Global Journeys. The coach was new and OK but the seats and the inclination was not all that good for a long trip. The tour could have included more important optional tours with a marginal increase in tour costs by applying group discounts etc.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Cosmos Alaska trip. As a group of 4 couples we were very happy with our booking agent at Global Journeys and the thorough and professional treatment we received. Tarak - our tour guide had an enormous amount of knowledge about every place we visited and gave us practical information about each stop. Although there were no meals included, there was never an issue. I would like to see breakfast included as this is a good time to socialize with our fellow travelers. Our bus group was mostly Australians which was amazing - 38 out of 47. Our accommodation was great - very clean, spacious, organised on arrival and central to everything. Our bus driver (Jim) was always on time, helpful, smiling and a very careful driver - we always felt safe. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Had an enjoyable time on this tour, the tour guide (Brad) was simply amazing with his knowledge about BC & Albert and commentary during the tour. He was remarkable and made the whole tour very interesting. The driver (Dennis) didn't say a lot but his driving was exceptional. Like the Canadian tour we did prior to this tour, we would have preferred to pay a little extra in the cost of the tour to include breakfast in all the hotels we stayed at. A lot of mornings we had to depart early and a provided continental breakfast would have been sufficient. Some of the rooms in the hotels we stayed in, did not provide enough space for two suit cases.

My cosmos tour was very good to excellent. Just some of the optional excursions were not good value. But the driver and host were excellent, the weather was great, the scenery excellent.

The tour was outstanding, above and beyond what we expected. The hotels were all in great central locations and the standard of the rooms was first class. All the rooms had everything that we wanted and some had more than we required, accommodations excellent. Our tour director, Mel Brand, was fabulous, he made our holiday for us, very knowledgeable ...read more and approachable and very obliging, he was so organised, we never had to wait for the keys to our room, always made himself available for help of any kind. Our driver, Alex, again so obliging, our luggage would arrive very soon after our arrival, the coach was always immaculate, I spotted him cleaning the coach after our arrival in a town. He was always on the lookout for wildlife for us to see. This was our first Cosmos tour and it won't be our last, we will do another tour with them, this was a fabulous experience made even better by our tour director, thank you Mel.

We are so pleased we decided to take the bus tour of the Rockies rather than ride the Rocky Mountaineer. We had a great guide and accommodating driver who alerted us to approaching wildlife including bears, bald eagles, elks, mountain goats and sheep. We stopped at scenic spots for photos and viewing experiences and whilst we did not have the luxuries ...read more and inclusions provided on the Rocky Mountaineer, I believe our overall experience was far superior. The whole Canadian Rockies experience was brilliant. Well organised and well executed. Apart from the lovely hotels we enjoyed for our overnight stays the whole experienced was certainly enhanced by the professionalism and knowledge of our Tour Director (Downtown) Lynda Brown. Our coach driver Eric also joined in the onboard atomosphere and the two made a great team. We enjoyed most of the additional excursions and the walk on the glacier memorable. The tour was great fun our tour guide was excellent and very informative about the areas we visited. Though there was a vast gap in age between travelers as it was not mentioned it was mainly an over 55's tour. (Ed. Hi Nadia, pretty much all of the tours we showcase are 'Open' age. This means there can be a broad range of ages. A fantastic experience! Amazing tour and tip top clean hotel room. I could not have hoped for more. I found Hannah at Global Journeys extremely helpful.

The 12 night Cosmos tour through the Canadian Rockies was everything we expected and more. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and her organizational skills excellent. Additionally, she took the time to explain the benefits of all the optional excursions advising which are a 'must see' and which are best value for money. The tour had a couple of easy days for sightseeing but the remainder was packed full of breathtaking scenery or optional excursions. Some long days were spent on the bus but regular stops, diversions to tourist hot spots and the final destinations made it well worth while. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

Very enjoyable and excellent value for money. A few extras were included which was a surprise and these included entrance to Butchart Gardens and the Ice Explorer trip to Columbia Icefield. The tour director had a great personality and was extremely knowledgeable and it was fantastic that she was from the area as she knew so much local information. ...read more The driver was excellent and enabled us to stop or slow down when wild animals were seen on the highways and as a result all passengers were able to take heaps of photos of bear, elk, deer and moose. For a basic tour I was totally impressed with the standard of accommodations. All rooms were comfortable and pleasant to relax in after a long busy day.

I had a absolute brilliant trip, it exceeded my expectations and then some! The tour took us through the most beautiful parts of the Rockies. The amount of things you see in the space of time of the tour is amazing. Our tour director John went out of his way to make sure we got to see some places that we otherwise would have missed on other tours. The amount of time spent at each overnight stop was adequate. The optional excursions ...read more offered some good variety to the tour experience. Some of the hotels we stayed at seemed exceptional value for what we paid. I enjoyed the pace of the tour, I had an amazing time and would recommend it to anyone thinking of touring the Rockies and Western Canada.
