Thought the tour was great but somewhat hurried. Perhaps this was because we joined the tour midway. This was our first bus tour so we were not familiar with the processes. We will be in the know next time! In my view the tour leader, Carolyn, was the difference in making this tour so enjoyable. Her personality, knowledge and wherewithal was just read more great. She is certainly an asset to AAT Kings. Further the skills of the driver were superb getting that huge vehicle through not so good roads was no mean feat and he, too, was great. Hope these comments are helpful.
I took my 11 yr old granddaughter on this trip and we had the best time! The tour operator AAT Kings was excellent, always on time yet flexible when needed, the tour guide was fun and very knowledgeable, the coach driver was a good driver, careful and considerate. The accommodation and food were great and the sight seeing opportunities were varied and read more interesting. It was the perfect first tour for my granddaughter - she loved it! Thank you to Kirby for your assistance and willing to answer any questions I might have, I really appreciate your help in organizing this tour, I had no need for concern at any time. I will certainly come back to Global Journeys in the future. Thank you for a job well done.
Our coach driver was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and had obviously spent time getting to know much about Aboriginal culture first hand and he related well to the Aboriginal guides we met during the tour.
First night accommodation (Wrest Point) was very ordinary. Queenstown and Smithton better than expected for smaller towns. Overall tour was very good. Note that your web site contains a reference to the West coast wilderness railway (optional). This is closed.

An amazing experience, and to think it is really on our doorstep. No need to travel to the other side of the world to see the wonders when a tour such as this has one reeling in the sights, colours and surroundings that leave the traveller in awe. Words fail to express the feelings of privilege, pleasure and yes responsibilities to protect the rain read more forests, wildlife and the incredible Great Barrier Reef. Thank you for the opportunity, we will always be so grateful. Tour Director, Bus Driver and fellow travellers all united into one tremendous trip. Cannot thank you enough.

The positives were that I had a great holiday and would recommend the tour just for the itinerary. We saw a lot of amazing places and the tour could of been extended to 14 days as we could of fitted in more places to see and gone further into far North Queensland. Met some amazing people who I'll keep in contact with and our tour guide and driver were read more fantastic. Ok the negatives were that at most of the hotels we stayed at we had to carry our own luggage up and down to our hotel rooms. In Noosa, I had to sleep on a sofa bed for 2 nights which wasn't great and share my hotel rooms with another lady who snored! Single travellers invest in single supplement/single room and learn from my mistake! The food in most of the hotels was pretty good some wasn't great. Apart from that I had a great holiday and have taken away some great memories!
Tour was great, our guide and driver were excellent. Best part were the included side tours, these were very informative and well presented.
I thought the office staff to be very friendly and most helpful. The drivers used by the company were knowledgeable about all aspects and even helped me up onto the rocks to enable me to view the rock art, which was most welcome. They went beyond the call of duty. I would recommend your company to people visiting Darwin as I had a great holiday. Thanks read more go to Kirby for arranging things for me.

We enjoyed the whole tour very much, excellent accommodation and guides. Kakadu/ Arnhem Land was a very welcoming place and we would definitely go there again. Global Journeys made the whole booking process easy and answered my questions very promptly and provided good service.

Enjoyed the Great Barrier Reef tour and loved the total day of Rainforest Tour - the Skyride thru the jungle was unbelievable! We loved Cairns. Would tell any visitor to Australia that you have to find time to go to go to Cairns!
Our tour went very smoothly. Tour Guide/Driver were both very accommodating and informative. Even though we only picked up the second part of the tour we felt very welcome. The tour was a great overview and am very keen to go back and explore more of Tasmania. The only downfall was the accommodation in Port Arthur as the mattresses were very old and read more our cold water tap in the bathroom didn't work. Also the TV didn't work properly. In saying this the hotel did offer us another room (but that was worse). Considering it was only one night it was not really a problem. Not sure what single rooms were like but the two bedroom really needed some TLC.
Saw places we wouldn't have seen if we had gone by car 1

We both enjoyed it very much, the places we were taken we wouldn't have seen if we had gone by car, little known waterfalls and the farm trip which was exceptional. All over it was well worth the money and our driver and tour guide did an exceptional job with all the passengers.

The tour guides knowledge was tremendous, the bus very comfortable and the scenery was excellent. I would have liked to see more tourist attractions though than little towns to have lunch in. Maybe more waterfalls or caves or the like.
I've heard about Tassie for its beauty from various sources for a very long time. I have been waiting patiently in order to be able to travel with my elderly parents and show them around this great place and share this experience together. We enjoyed this Tassie tour very much. For the very first time, I found I really like countryside and the very read more friendly and relaxing atmosphere in the country towns there. The scenery along the way was very attractive. It's like looking at oil paintings of landscapes, so beautiful, hard for me to describe in words. You got to be there to have a look so you know what I mean. The Tour was well organized and everything was up to schedule. The AAT Kings tour covered well known tourist destinations plus many interesting places we had never heard of. Our original tour guide Christin is very knowledgeable, highly dedicated and professional. She's very well organised, plan things ahead and made extra effort to ensure everyday ran smoothly and we're all happy. Really appreciate her great job! The accommodation and meals were good. The hotels picked were well located, particularly in Burnie and Bicheno - just across the street is the beach. I couldn't have been happier when seeing the morning sunrise from there. The staff were very helpful and super warm and friendly. They accommodated my mother's diet requirements (which I requested at booking, unfortunately hasn't been passed on to them for whatever reason in time for the catering) so she can enjoy her meals during the tour. Our coach was comfortable, modern and clean. We were lucky to have Darren as our driver, who was very good and experienced driving on the winding roads while we were one the west coast section of the tour. The airport pickup/drop off transfers were very smooth as well. Drivers are very polite and helpful. We were very happy we went on this tour. Many thanks to Kirby (from Global Journeys) who was our tour consultant. I was very impressed by her work - very efficient, very helpful and highly professional. I've recommended this tour to my friends and other families, and plan to do more tours in the future.

The tour was well organised and we had a good time in Tassie. Our tour consultant Kirby at Global Journeys was great. Very experienced, professional and super helpful. Therefore the booking for our tour went very efficiently. Everyday of our tour run smoothly with our fabuluous tour guide. She's very dedicated and thoughful. Well planed and organised. read more Very impressed by her professinalism and her passion for her work. Some thoughts for future tour consideration - it would be very useful to have some tour brochures in other language (e.g Chinese) available on the coach to meet the needs of international tourists. It would make the tour guide job a bit easier and tourists can enjoy the tour even more. Also an option of pre-booking for special diet requirements when dinner/lunch are provided in the package. Most people from China don't cope well with the western cooking.

Accommodation generally very good although we felt the decor at the Fox and Hounds was a little tired. Food was excellent throughout. Driver Tom was extremely competent and safe. Tour guide Greg was very informative yet not overly so, giving just the right amount of info in an amusing way. Very helpful and caring with any problems. This was a great tour - we got more out of it than we thought we would and the accommodation was not fancy, but more than adequate. Food was great. Good value!
