Stress free travel in Peru and Bolivia Incas, Titicaca & La Paz , QLD, Australia, Sep 2025
If you are looking for one trip to tick off so many bucket list items this, is it! Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, La Paz. Our tour leader, Edwar, was super passionate about sharing the Peruvian culture and providing insights only an indigenous Peruvian and an Archaeologist could. The accommodation was well above expectations read more – think Hilton and up. The daily activities ran like clockwork. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. I don't know how they managed it, but the weather was even perfect!
Memorable visit to Peru for Inti Raymi festival   Upgraded - Discover Peru (Inti Raymi) , ACT, Australia, Jun 2025
I highly recommend travelling with Explore as our local tour leader Arturo ensured every aspect of our visit was enjoyable and memorable. Arturo was the ultimate professional making sure our stay was trouble free and his passion for his work and Peru left a lasting impression on the group. All the accommodation, transport, meals and access to sites read more exceeded expectations as Arturo ensured that each moment was spent soaking up the atmosphere and learning about Peruvian history, culture and heritage without any worries or concerns.

The local guides, staff and people were very friendly and hospitable towards us with many happy moments spent sampling the local cuisine and beverages in the restaurants, cafes and with locals such as at Lake Titicaca and Maras.
Its easy to recommend the well known sites such as Lima, Cusco and Machu Picchu but visiting Arequipa with its many churches, volcanoes and traditional markets was memorable as was the day trip to Ollantaytambo town and archaeological site in the nearby hills.

Add to that Raqchi and the Sun Temple, Colca Canyon and Valley with its condors and hawks, there was plenty to see for all types of visitors that it would be unfair to single out one particular moment or experience. Attending both Corpus Christi and Inti Raymi festivities was an eye opening experience getting to witness a mixture of religious practices and soaking in the atmosphere and warm weather with thousands of people left you deeply emotional and excited.

I look forward to returning in the not so distant future to see the extra places on offer and partake in the additional Amazon visit as the those who were lucky enough to visit had a fun time living it up seeing the beautiful scenery and witnessing exotic animals in a safe environment. Thanks Explore and Global Journeys for a life changing trip!

Inca legacy Legacy of the Incas , NSW, Australia, Feb 2024
Great trip by Globus. Well planned itinerary. Great travel director and specialists. The Machu Picchu/Cusco specialist was the best. He was a mine of information and he made visiting Machu Picchu and Cusco very interesting. Thanks to Georgie for booking this tour for me and sending me all the documentation prior to my departure from Australia.
Fantastic Peru   Mysteries of the Inca Empire with Peru's Amazon, Arequipa & Colca Canyon , NSW, Australia, Oct 2022
This was a first time trip to South America for my wife and I. Having seen the usual tourist photos of Machu Picchu and the floating islands of Lake Titicaca, it was not difficult to decide that Peru would be a good choice for an introduction to South America. We selected Cosmos's "Mysteries of the Inca Empire" tour and added Peru's Amazon plus Arequipa read more and Colca Canyon extensions to the start and end of the tour. Our holiday was outstanding! Such a diverse range of sights and activities, feeding piranha in the jungle back waters, night-time "hunts" for caiman, monkeys and tarantulas, learning how to spot the difference between alpacas and llamas, climbing the Inca steps at Ollantaytambo and Machu Picchu and watching the magnificent condors at Colca Canyon. Not much more you could ask for! This was a well organised tour, in a beautiful country full of friendly people. A trip not to be missed. Thank you Cosmos and Global Journeys.
