Itinerary

Tour Begins: 5:00 PM, Sage Lodge. A transfer is included from Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport to your hotel, Sage Lodge nestled in the heart of Paradise Valley and the shadows of the Absaroka Mountains.

Tonight, join your fellow adventurers for a welcome reception and dinner. Stay Two Nights: Sage Lodge (D)

Paradise awaits you on this full day of activities in Montana's great outdoors. Notorious for its stunning scenic landscapes and close proximity to Yellowstone National Park, Paradise Valley is truly "heaven on earth." This morning, visit a local ranch for a horseback riding experience complimented by beautiful views of the surrounding Paradise Valley.

This afternoon, try your hand at the art of fly casting and discover how fly fishing is not just a pastime here—it's a proud tradition woven into the fabric of Montana's culture. In-between activities you'll have free time to do as you wish. Dinner tonight will be served at the lodge. (B/D)

After breakfast, depart for a full day immersed in the marvels of Yellowstone. Visit some of the park's most iconic sites such as Mammoth Hot Springs, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and the Norris Basin. One of the most dynamic of Yellowstone's thermal areas, Norris Basin is home to the Steamboat Geyser, the tallest active geyser in the world – and its eruptions shoot water more than 300 feet in the air.

Later this afternoon, continue on to Under Canvas West Yellowstone for a glamping experience under the stars. Tents are thoughtfully appointed with upscale furnishings, private bathrooms, organic bath products, wood stoves and porches. After settling in, gather for a relaxed dinner at the on-site restaurant. Stay Two Nights: Under Canvas West Yellowstone (B/L/D)

This morning is yours to enjoy however you wish—sip coffee by the river, relax in a hammock, join a yoga class, or simply soak in the serene surroundings.

After your leisurely start, head to the nearby town of West Yellowstone for a visit to the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center. Opened in 1993, the center was created to deepen visitors' understanding and appreciation of grizzly bears. Today, it features a range of interactive exhibits that explore the roles and relationships of bears and wolves within the greater Yellowstone ecosystem.

Your visit also includes admission to the Yellowstone Giant Screen Theatre, where you'll have the opportunity to watch Yellowstone, a film that traces the park's rich history—from the traditions of early Native American tribes to the explorations of Lewis and Clark, and ultimately, to Yellowstone's designation as America's first national park. (B/D)

This morning, set out to explore Yellowstone's famed geothermal wonders, including the bubbling Fountain Paint Pots and the legendary Old Faithful geyser. Fun fact: Old Faithful was named during the Washburn-Langford-Doane Expedition of 1870. While traveling through the area, the explorers were struck by the geyser's remarkably consistent eruptions. Impressed by its dependable display, they dubbed the geyser "Old Faithful"—a name that has endured ever since.

Next, journey south through Grand Teton National Park to the mountain town of Jackson arriving at your boutique hotel, The Cloudveil, located just off Jackson's central square.

Tonight, the evening is yours to enjoy - walk the historic wooden sidewalks, browse its art galleries, and dine at one of Jackson's numerous restaurants. Stay Three Nights: The Cloudveil (B/L)

Whatever you want to do is on the menu this morning. Embrace the amenities of your hotel or take to the streets and explore Jackson on your own, your hotel is just steps away from numerous shops, art galleries and restaurants. Alternatively, embark alongside your Tauck Director to Snow King Mountain, located on the edge of town. Take a gondola to the top where stunning panoramic views welcome you before you make your way back down the mountain on foot.

After lunch on your own, arrive at the Teton Raptor Center, a non-profit helping to advance raptor conservation through education, research and rehabilitation. Enjoy a private behind-the-scenes tour of the facilities highlighted by an opportunity to meet with some of the organization's feathered friends.

Tonight, following dinner on your own in Jackson, you may either enjoy time to spend as you wish, or, join us for an evening of western culture and fun at the Jackson Hole Rodeo, a beloved tradition since 1890! (B)

An early morning drive brings us to our final destination of our journey – Grand Teton National Park. Explore many of the highlights found within the park during your time here and be sure to keep your eyes peeled at all times for the native wildlife that call Grand Teton home such as grizzly bears, bison, moose, elk and pronghorn. Return to Jackson where the rest of the afternoon is yours to spend as you'd like.

Tonight, join your fellow travelers for a farewell reception at your hotel followed by dinner at Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse featuring traditional steakhouse fare and whose walls tell the story of the legendary Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, one of the top cowboy bars found on either side of the Mississippi River. (B/L/D)

Tour Ends: Jackson. Fly home anytime. A transfer is included from your hotel to Jackson Hole Airport. Please allow a minimum of two hours for check-in. (B)
