Itinerary

Departs: 19:00

Oahu, known as "The Gathering Place," is a vibrant blend of natural beauty and urban charm. From Honolulu's Ala Moana Center, the largest open-air shopping center in the world or alternatively for nature enthusiasts, hike up Diamond Head for breathtaking views or relax on the famous Waikiki Beach. For a taste of local life, visit the North Shore to witness world-class surfing and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. Don't miss the chance to sample local delicacies at a luau, where traditional Hawaiian cuisine and entertainment create an unforgettable evening.

Port:Honolulu

Dive into history at the Iolani Palace, the only royal palace in the United States, and pay respects at the Pearl Harbor National Memorial, a poignant reminder of World War II. Stroll through the lively Waikiki Beach area, where you can sunbathe, surf, or shop at upscale boutiques.

For panoramic views of the island, hike up Diamond Head, an iconic volcanic crater. Sample local flavors at the KCC Farmers Market, featuring fresh produce and Hawaiian treats, or relax in the serene Honolulu Botanical Gardens, a lush oasis in the heart of the city.

While at sea, take time to recharge before the next adventure. Lounge by the pool, be spoiled at the spa, dine at any of the onboard restaurants or explore the thrills on each deck until we arrive at the next destination. Make the most of your day at sea by enjoying our Wi-Fi, drink and Speciality Dining Packages. These services are available at an additional cost.

The island's unique geography makes Moorea one of French Polynesia's most breathtaking islands. Eight mountain peaks carpeted in lush vegetation rise from a translucent lagoon and two tranquil bays. Ships will anchor offshore and tenders will be provided to the shore.

Top Things to Do in Moorea:

  • encounter dolphins at the Intercontinental Moorea Resort marine sanctuary
  • hike through Opunohu Valley
  • enjoy an off-road adventure through Moorea's deep valleys and mountains
  • cruise Moorea's waters on a Catamaran

Arrives: 07:00 Departs: 22:00

Tahiti's diverse beauty spans from the serene shores of Matavai Bay to the verdant Papenoo Valley. In Papeete, experience the lively atmosphere of the waterfront promenade and indulge in traditional dishes at the roulottes, food trucks serving Polynesian cuisine. Head inland to Faarumai Waterfalls, a trio of cascades nestled in lush greenery. The island is also a hub for pearl farms, where you can discover the intricate process of cultivating Tahitian black pearls, renowned for their unique luster.

Port:Papeete

The Papeete Cruise Port is located right in the city center so attractions such as the vibrant Papeete Market are just a short walk away. To visit more distant attractions like the stunning Fautaua Waterfall, consider a taxi or a guided excursion. Don’t miss out on trying local Tahitian cuisine or visiting the Black Pearl Museum.

Arrives: 07:00 Departs: 20:00

Meaning 'Faraway Heaven,' Raiatea is an island of astounding beauty, ancient myths and home to French Polynesia's largest outdoor temple (marae). Many believe it is the centre from which the great Polynesian migration started and is considered the most sacred island in the South Pacific. Ships will dock at this port.

Top Things to Do on Raiatea:

  • cross the lagoon to Raiatea's sister island, Taha’a
  • visit a black pearl farm
  • visit the Marae Taputapuatea (temple)
  • kayak the Fa'aroa River

While at sea, take time to recharge before the next adventure. Lounge by the pool, be spoiled at the spa, dine at any of the onboard restaurants or explore the thrills on each deck until we arrive at the next destination. Make the most of your day at sea by enjoying our Wi-Fi, drink and Speciality Dining Packages. These services are available at an additional cost.

The international date line, established in 1884, passes through the mid-Pacific Ocean and roughly follows a 180 degrees longitude north to south line on the Earth. It does zigzag around political borders such as eastern Russia and Alaska’s Aleutian Islands.

Crossing the date line eastbound decreases the date by one day, while crossing the date line westbound increases the date. So when you cross east to west you always lose a day and crossing from west to east you get the same day twice (or gain a day).

Lounge by the pool, be spoiled at the spa, dine at any of the onboard restaurants or explore the thrills on each deck until we arrive at the next destination. Cruise to Penang and phuket   1 , SA, Australia, Nov 2025
Thanks to Hannah Perry we had a lovely four day cruise on Royal Caribbean Ovation of the Seas from Singapore to Penang and Phuket. We both really enjoyed the cruise and would certainly cruise with Royal Caribbean again.
This cruise was a lovely relaxing snapshot of the south island of New Zealand 3 , NSW, Australia, Mar 2025
This cruise was a lovely relaxing snapshot of the south island of New Zealand with our first stop being Milford Sound, Dusky Sound and then Doubtful Sound which were so incredible to view. The next stops were Dunedin, Christchurch and Wellington which all had their own diverse and individual history to see. Travelling from Sydney Harbour in the early read more evening was also spectacular and returning at 5.00am into Sydney Harbour and leaving the ship to look back at the harbour, the Bridge and the Opera House was so special and an added bonus to this cruise.

The entire trip was very enjoyable and there was numerous activities on board the Ovation of the Seas and incredible musicians entertaining the passengers at various points throughout the cruise, not only the nightly shows. We enjoyed very much the Wellington excursion to the Shipwreck coast which included a visit to Pencarrow Lodge perched high on the cliff with stunning views to the South Island etc. Such a beautiful Lodge which included a lovely morning tea.
The Break Away 0 , NSW, Australia, Nov 2024
It was a great short break - everything was perfect from the booking in and cabin staff to the neverending quality food and wait service. I could not fault any of the staff involved that made our lives easy and restful. Disembarking was a breeze following the instructions and procedures. Will book again definitely.
Great cruise 4 , Australia, Jan 2024
This was a great cruise from start to finish. The booking process was easy. The port stops were great. The ship had a lot to do on board. The food was pretty good. Just the coffee on board could have been better.
First time cruise exceed expectations 4 , New Zealand, Jul 2023
This was my first cruise and it exceed my expectations. The facilities were top tier! I really enjoyed coming back to my stateroom which was great even without a balcony after a long day to relax. Royal Caribbean really know how to wow their consumers! Although I really enjoyed the cruise I most likely won’t go on a cruise peak season again as it felt read more really overwhelming with so many people and the weather was really hot. In saying this, I would definitely go on another cruise and would definitely book through Global Journeys. Tracey made my experience very easy and answered all my questions timely. The whole process was great!
Beautiful New Zealand Cruise   4 , NSW, Australia, Apr 2023
Lovely cruise on Ovation of the Seas. The ship was very impressive. Especially suited for families with teenage children and young adults with lots of activities on board. Perhaps not so much for the older age group. New Zealand has some stunning scenery although I was on the last cruise for the season and we missed two ports because of inclement weather. read more Thanks to Georgie from Global Journeys for always handling my bookings so efficiently, everything went very smoothly.
Thanks 7 , VIC, Australia, Mar 2023
We had a great time on our Royal Caribbean holiday. We booked it all through Georgie who was very helpful and would highly recommend her.
Weekend getaway from Sydney 5 , NSW, Australia, Jan 2023
With Christmas such a busy and hectic time, we took the opportunity to book a weekend getaway cruise on Royal Caribbean's Ovation of the Seas. Only being a 2 night cruise, we splurged out on a 1 bedroom Grand Suite, and it didn’t disappoint. Essentially a double size cabin, bedroom in one side and lounge in the other with access to a fully tiled bathroom read more from each room. Other perks of the Grand Suite was access to the Coastal Kitchen restaurant. Whilst the quality and quantity of the food on Royal Caribbean in general is better than other lines we have cruised with, the Coastal Kitchen really is that extra step up. Top quality food, impeccable service and a more intimate environment for dinner was a good way to cap off the day.

Suite class also has 24 hr access to the Concierge Club lounge, with complimentary coffee all day, afternoon hors d'oeuvres and open bar from 5pm - 8pm. Add to that a private sundeck and you have several options to get away from the 4,500 plus passengers on board. (if that’s what you want). Suites are not cheap, and up to the individual to determine if it is worth it for them, but we enjoyed our short stay at that level. We have also found that Royal Caribbean’s boarding process, in Sydney at least, is second to none. With so much being able to be done online prior to boarding, you virtually just walk on, via security of course and ID checks. We’ll cruise with Royal Caribbean and book via Global Journeys again.
