Global Journeys is a very good company to organise your travel plans. Georgie Walpole is extremely efficient, friendly and reliable, just what you need in a person organising your holiday. We did a Princess cruise ex-Sydney to Noumea, New Caledonia, Fiji, Tauranga, Auckland and back to Sydney. The crew were excellent, food pretty good too. On this read more particular cruise there seemed to be too many sea days and unless you use the Casino and like Zumba, there's not a great deal to do during the day, apart from the trivia quiz. The shows were very good. As per usual, we returned home with colds, which we have come to expect. The cruise passengers average age was probably in the 70s.
We have been happy with all our past Princess cruises and this was a pretty good one too. Highlights were the two tropical islands in Vanuatu and Fiji and the village and school visit in Suva. We always book formal dining and the restaurants for breakfast and lunch on sea days. Up to usual good standard. The included pizzas and soft serve ice cream read more was great on the pool deck. Espresso coffee is hit but often miss and not great value for what it is. Wait staff in dining room were great. Onboard shows were good. Not a lot to do on sea days BUT wifi at sea was fast and helped me fill in time using my phone or tablet with VPN. Wiil always pay for it on future cruises as it's now Starlink and seemed very reliable. Embarkation and "debarking" pretty seamless. Will book again with Global Journeys.

Crown Princess cruise to South Pacific 16 days April/May 2026. Very enjoyable. Highlights were excursion to village and school in Suva, beautiful Mystery Island for swim, and excursion from ship to North Shore Auckland worthwhile. Quality of food on ship excellent but preferred dining room option for meals (permanent evening reservation recommended). read more Coffee not the best. Entertainment on board great and attended many trivia events on sea days. Housekeeping staff looked after us well. Grace from Global Journeys helped us book an amazing cruise - right from having a perfectly positioned balcony stateroom through to knowing everything we needed to do to enjoy a very special cruise to celebrate a big wedding anniversary. I have never been to the South Pacific apart from New Zealand, so doing a Princess cruise to New Caledonia and Vanuatu was something that I was looking forward to. Fortunately, the weather was fine and in the high 20s on virtually every day. The Crown Princess is a more traditional type of cruise ship. The staff were great and so was the food. We attended read more the Da Vinci walk-in restaurant most nights and we were fortunate that for half the time of the cruise we were able to sit in the area that was serviced by two of the waiting staff whom we got to know pretty well, to the extent that when they visit our town in the next month, we have invited them for a catch up.
The highlights for me were spending time lazing on a lounge in a place called Turtle Bay which is something that was not offered by the cruise ship itself, swimming in one of the blue lagoons, visiting the caves of Jokin, and spending time and swimming at Mystery Island. Having a free laundromat facility was a huge plus.
The problems that we had were that for some reason we had some insects in the room at night and even though I complained, nothing was done about it. In addition, we had a water pipe that broke in our corridor outside our room on more than one occasion that meant that we had to have a heater noisily trying to dry the carpets outside the room. Overall, I was grateful that we had a balcony stateroom so we could avoid the noise in the corridor for several days. One issue that really hit hard was the age and immobility of so many of the passengers. I've never seen that many outside a nursing home. Overall, I enjoyed the cruise and the destinations and again I am pleased with Global Journeys and with Hannah in booking this cruise.

We travelled on the Crown Princess to the Pacific Islands and New Zealand in May 2025. We booked it through Global Journeys as we have done on a few occasions. Georgie was our agent again and as usual she was so helpful and efficient. The vibe on the ship was great. All the passengers were really friendly and the crew were fantastic, in fact I would read more have to say it would have to be the best crew we have encountered in a long time. They were really friendly, helpful and a lot of them had a great sense of humour. We have travelled on quite a few Princess ships and they have always been great. Would highly recommend Princess Cruises and Global Journeys.
Accessible Stateroom 1

The Crown Princess is a large Ship with 3,080 passengers. Because of my need to use a mobility scooter, it was mandatory to have an Accessible Stateroom. These Staterooms are so much larger; the bathroom is large with a large walking shower and plenty of grab rails to hold for safety. The ship is easy to get around on these small traveling scooters. read more The food was first class in both the Dining Room and the Horizoncourt. The crew is always very good and attentive to all your needs. The show was very enjoyable and had a full audience every night. A beautiful ship for a very enjoyable cruise.
