Michelle White

At 19 years of age I ventured overseas and didn't return to Australia for over 2 years. During this time I worked my way around the world from hotel reception in London to a ski season in Banff, Canada. I've been white water rafting on the Zambezi River, viewed the 'Big Five' on a walking safari in the South Luangwa National Park, Zambia and years later honeymooned in Positano, Italy. Today as a mother of four I enjoy organising trips of a lifetime for others, but looks forward to travelling again in the future.

I entered the travel industry in 1994 as an African wholesale travel specialist based in Sydney. After moving to Queensland I've been employed in retail travel in addition to working for online New Zealand specialist Relaxing Journeys, Global Journeys sister company.

Fun Fact!
I love hippos, they are my favourite animal despite a close encounter with a charging mother while canoeing on the Zambezi River. I am also the (self-appointed) luge champion of Rotorua, faster than a speeding bullet!

Michelles' Personal Trip Reviews

Michelle's Review:

In June 2012 I visited New Zealand's North Island with Grand Pacific Tours. I was fortunate to travel on the 'Ultimate Coach', a full sized coach that has been rebuilt to seat just 20 passengers in luxury leather seats. Some of the highlights included a dolphin cruise in beautiful Bay of Islands, a visit to Te Puia in the Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley and the fascinating city of Wellington.

There is no place in the world quite like New Zealand and we are so lucky to have this unique destination right on our doorstep. I would highly recommend Grand Pacific Tours, their guides are professional and knowledgeable and if you enjoy a bit of luxury their 'Ultimate' tours are the way to go!
