Rio De Janeiro to Buenos Aires
The Impressions of South America gave a taste of the contrasts, landscapes and culture of South America. From sophisticated Buenos Aires to party-town Rio, and the awe inspiring Iguazu Falls, the tour provided once in a lifetime experiences and lifelong memories.
The absolute highlights for me were the sunset reception on Sugarloaf Mountain on arrival in Rio and the jetboat ride under Iguazu falls.
Nothing was too much trouble for our tour director Rodriguo, who was one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever met, and addressed us as “my friends” right from the first day. The hotels were 5 star in all the best locations (like right on Copacabana beach). Trafalgar’s South America tours operate in small groups of up to 26, with spacious and comfortable coaches.
There is a wide variety of included and optional experiences to cater for all interests and levels of adventure. The amount of time in each city was perfect, with enough time to explore the sights without feeling rushed. Now that I’ve ticked off the first few destinations I can’t wait to see more of this larger than life continent! Trafalgar made seeing South America easy, safe and unforgettable.
