Everything went well. Great tour director (Andrew Hynde) and driver (Lee Williams). Information given about the tour and history was great. Pity about Andrew's music choice. Accommodation was very good except for Kensington Place in London. Better than European tour. Thank you Georgie for your effort. Every question answered promptly and everything read more turned out well. One recommendation is for Cosmos to allow to book double accommodation rather than twin. They could include a cover 'subject to availability'. Our sincere thankyou for organising a great holiday for us. Look forward to further holidays.

My sister and I found our travel experience to be very positive. Having never been so far overseas before we found the tour option was a great introduction to overseas travel and an overview of areas that we may like to revisit and spend a lengthier period of time in. We met a lot of great people from all different walks of life, and both our tour director read more and driver were very knowledgeable and professional. I can't speak highly enough of our travel consultant Frances who took the stress out of making travel arrangements and was easy to contact for enquiries and support. The only problem with the trip, was that it was too short!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Cosmos British Isles in Depth Tour and the European Masterpiece Tour that we recently did. Everything was so well organised thanks to Georgie and Global Journeys. Everything ran very smoothly and Cosmos were very professional and well organised. Everyday of the tours was busy and we did the two longest Cosmos tours one after read more another so we did come home very exhausted but we saw so many different places. We would have no hesitation in recommending Global Journeys to our family and friends.

Our Tour Director Matthew Bell and Driver Andy were fantastic. Matthew was so knowledgeable and really polite and obliging. Andy was a wonderful driver and deliverer of luggage etc. The coach was always clean but the air conditioning was not working for the last part of the trip when the temperatures were really high and we were all sick with a flu read more bug working it's way around the coach, the lack of cool air was most distressing to all of the passengers and the crew.

The Cosmos coach was comfortable, and it did have a loo on board which we had been led to believe would not be provided. Both the tour director and driver were excellent. The standard of hotels was very good and certainly better than we were expecting, and the food was very good. The duration of our tour was 21 days, and towards the end, we were looking read more to its conclusion, but this does not detract in any way from the tour itself. The tour certainly far exceeded our expectations. We would certainly recommend this company and this particular tour to anybody, as the age range on our tour was between 25 and 88, and we never heard any complaints about anything at all. Three comments: we were caught unaware by the payment in total for all the optional extras on day one, as we had thought we would be asked to pay individually as the tour progressed, but we overcame that hurdle. Another comment is that for a 21 day tour, the number of nights spent in Ireland seemed excessive compared to the number of nights in England itself - eight nights in Ireland and only five in England. The tour director very kindly organised for a laundry to do some washing of our bigger items in Ireland, and we would have appreciated that service one more time. This was our first experience of an overseas trip of that kind, and as there were no dramas or problems of any kind with our tour, we would certainly recommend Global Journeys and Cosmos.
