Our Ultimate South America with Brazil Amazon extension tour was so amazing from the beginning until the end of our journey. It was our fourth tour with Cosmos and we were so impressed with how the schedules were properly planned and well organised. We were so blessed to have an excellent tour director, Mauro Rubinstein. Our local guides were very enthusiastic and knowledgeable especially Charo, Harry & Moses. South America is such an awesome place to visit. We just cannot pick & choose as to what will be the highlight of the tour. Every place we've been was such a life changing experience.

So many memories to share, places to see and the hospitality of the local people. We highly recommend this Cosmos tour, South America and the Amazon is a must see place to visit. Also, a big thanks to Georgie Walpole at Global Journeys for making it possible for us to enjoy a stress free holiday.

This was an amazing trip! I have just come back (Nov 2016) and highly recommend it. I fell in love with Peru with highlights of Machu Picchu. Their incredible ruins will leave you bewildered on how they were build. The climb to the Sun Gate is worth it ,we did it at 6am - Would not recommended it at any other time of day. Iguazu falls is just beautiful from both the Brazilian and Argentina side (take the upper and lower trail, it's not difficult). Rio and Lima beautiful! Only 8 of the 35 on tour did the extension to the Amazon, it was amazing, lots of jungle walks, boas, claymans, Mccaw and toucans. Don't be put off by Zika virus and your not endanger of wild aminals. IT'S a must when u go to South America. Couldn't have organised this on my own, a must through Global Journeys, just too much to see in 23 days. Be prepared for lots of flights.

This was a really great experience considering the tour content, accommodation and overall design of the tour. Compared my previous Cosmos experience, this tour accommodation was just superb. Our hotels were almost at the city centres! In Rio, our hotel is a block from the fabulous Copacabana beach. In Buenos Aires, it was next to the shopping street ...read more - Florida Avenue. In Iguazu, the hotel is just a fabulous resort. Tour Director did a terrific job in looking our bags from door to door even including retrieving our bags from the conveyor belts when we travelled by air! The design was great considering we had to go up to 3830M ASL. We had 2 nights at Ollantaytambo to get our bodies adjusted to high altitudes so that we all had no problem at all when we finally hiked up to Machu Picchu. The optional tours were just great in terms of number, price and content. Great tour experience.
