Well led tour by our trusty tour guide Jonathan Mueller 0 Leone, NSW, Australia, Nov 2025
We felt very safe and well managed on our trip to South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Our only disappointment was the lack of animals, in particular in Pilanesburg N Park. Having 5 safaris there was too many for such a poorly maintained road system. We all struggled with how rough the tracks were and the lack of animal sightings didn't help. The lodge read more was also not to our taste - too snooty. The Wallow Lodge and Chobi lodge were much better for our tastes. I will go back and do at least one more safari trip but will research the parks being offered in much greater detail before committing.
The trip was absolutely amazing. Most of the accommodation was fantastic & the hospitality staff were so friendly, they bent over backwards to give us the best service we've ever had. Our guide was absolutely wonderful & my fellow travellers were a great bunch, made up of Australians, Americans & Canadians. I would definitely travel with Collette again read more & I would have no hesitation in booking through Global Journeys again.
This Collette tour was well structured with a very competent Leader, Johnathon. We enjoyed all aspects commencing from Cape Town and particularly the game drives in Entabeni and Chobe. The small group of 16 was a perfect size and mostly interacted well. The weather in mid/late April was ideal. We would recommend the tour unreservedly.
