Got to know the history, culture and the people of Mexico and Cuba. A real eye opener. Sergio, our guide in Mexico, is very good and experienced. His commentary and explanation of Mexican history and life are both entertaining and informative. The itinerary led us to different parts of Mexico with its varying cuisines and we had different styles of accommodation. We got to taste some very nice seafood. Carmen, our guide in Cuba, is good while doing her talk in the tour bus. But there is room for improvement for her performance on the road. Not much guiding once outside the bus and not very clear cut about the logistics of the tour. Were pleasantly surprised by the variety of seafood we got to taste in Cuba. Cuban music and American old bombs are marvellous. The rides in these classic cars are hilarious. Cuba is not a country one goes for its scenery but for its history, its mystery after so many years of enforced isolation and for the pilgrimage for Che Guevara.
