Fabulous trip   , VIC, Australia, Aug 2025
We absolutely loved our tour of Spain, Portugal and Morocco. The Guides we had were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. It was pretty full on for 69 & 77 year olds with a lot of walking in hot conditions but we managed to keep up most of the time. The highlight was the Sahara Desert and sleeping under the stars. There were a couple of accommodation ...read more venues that weren't great and maybe more suited to backpackers but overall the standard was acceptable. Lots of travel involved to get to destinations but when you're packing 3 countries into 4 weeks I guess there's no alternative. I would definitely recommend this tour but maybe not in the hotter months.
Best Tour   , NSW, Australia, Jul 2025
Best tour I have been on. Tour Manager Claudia from Collette was excellent. Bus was comfortable and hotels 4 star. Tour was well organised with daily updates from Claudia including summary of day’s activities and next day. I loved all of the tour. Highlights was gin factory, winery, picnic at Monchique, Algarve caves Cruise, Lagos, Cascais and Sintra. ...read more Highly recommended for all ages and great value. I look forward to my next adventure with Collette.
Portugal in depth     , TAS, Australia, Jun 2025
Wonderful experience with the very professional Globus staff. We travelled to so many places, entered into buildings that I would perhaps not have given a second look at to discover beautiful gardens and architecture. We even back in time to working townships from the 10th century .I would not been able to have covered the breadth of Portugal nor learnt ...read more so much history as I did with the Global staff. I met many fellow travellers who said they only do Globus tours, I am now a convert to bus trips!
Wonderful cruise on the Douro with time in Lisbon     , TAS, Australia, May 2025
This is our fourth river cruise with Emerald and once again, we could not speak more highly of them. And while the others have been excellent, the Douro is definitely the most most beautiful. There were lots of activities and performances, with top food and staff. We were disappointed that the archeological excursion did not attract enough people for ...read more it to run. Fortunately the bike ride did run but it was expensive, which put people off. We love the casual atmosphere aboard the Emerald cruises, but that does not compromise the professional approach to everything- from the cabin to the table. Portugal is a great place to visit and Emerald made it very easy to do so.
