Itinerary

Welcome to New York where a world of wonder awaits as you step on board Scenic Eclipse and raise your glass to toast the start of your luxurious cruise. Please book your flight to arrive into New York City prior to 02:00 PM. (D)

Acquaint yourself with the exceptional range of facilities on board our ultra-luxury Discovery Yacht. Choose a class in one of the fitness spaces, relax in a therapy lounge in the spa, or tempt your palate from one of the dining venues. (B/L/D)

Hamilton is the beating heart of Bermuda. Blending local flavour with global sophistication, experience the great harbour views and the energetic, cosmopolitan vibe. When the city of Hamilton was founded in 1788 by Sir Henry Hamilton, he wanted to create a central hub that is relatively close to all on the Island. This accounts for the motto, ‘Sparsa Collegit', translation of which is ‘brought together the scattered'. Walk around the pastel-coloured façade. (B/L/D)

Continue exploring Hamilton before sailing to St. George's this afternoon (B/L/D)

Originally called New London, St. George's is steeped in history. Mentioned in one of Shakespeare's famous plays “The Tempest”. Streets are still named after local people that used to reside in the area, including Aunt Peggy, a friendly slave known to keep watch on the town chatting to all who passed by. Wander through the narrow, charming lanes travelling back to the 17th century, interacting with the incredibly warm and welcoming locals. (B/L/D)

Over the next couple of days relax on board. With the many choices available to you, you will be surprised at how quickly time passes. Choose one of the daily activities, join an entertaining discussion in the theatre or unwind in the Senses Spa. (B/L/D)

Enjoy the exceptional range of facilities on board your luxurious yacht. (B/L/D)

Welcome to paradise. White sandy beaches, crystal clear turquoise waters and pristine coral reefs. Enjoy a day of relaxation, choose to explore with a snorkel or maybe try to hike to the historic Baxter Castle. (B/L/D)

Egg Island in an uninhabited island and the last undeveloped island in a change that served as the landing spot for the first European settlers. Admire the beauty of the island that holds cultural, historical and environmental significance. (B/L/D)

Welcome to Nassau. See the two sides of the city: an urban hub of music, coffee bars and Michelin-starred restaurants, and a well-preserved treasure of candy-coloured colonial buildings, glamorous settings for two James Bond films, and the former home of the Duke of Windsor, Governor of the Bahamas in the 1940s. (B/L/D)

Dock in the delightful Clarence Town marina for a day of discovery on foot or by bike. The west coast of Long Island is fringed with white-sand beaches, while the east coast has dramatic cliffs and caves that face the wild waves of the Atlantic Ocean. (B/L/D)

Inagua is home to 1000 Bahamians and 80,000 West Indian flamingos, who paint the sky pink when the flock takes flight. On Little Inagua, the largest uninhabited island in the Caribbean, our Discovery team will guide your exploration above and below the water. (B/L/D)

Take the time to acquaint yourself with the exceptional range of facilities onboard your ultra-luxurious Discovery Yacht. Choose a fitness class, relax in the Senses Spa, or tempt your palate at one of the all-inclusive dining venues. (B/L/D)

The capital of Puerto Rico, founded by Spanish settlers in 1521, San Juan is the oldest city under US jurisdiction. Observe 500 years of European history in Old San Juan, where the blue cobblestone streets are lined with hundreds of restored buildings from the 16th and 17th centuries. The walled city is renowned for its ancient fortifications and watchtowers which repelled invaders such as pirates and British navigator Sir Francis Drake. (B/L/D)

Diamond-dust sand is a common description for the award-winning beaches on this dreamy island, teeming with marine life in more than 20 turquoise-water cays. More than 20 percent of Culebra has been preserved as a National Wildlife Refuge for the past century, providing a habitat for endangered sea turtles and seabirds. The diving and snorkelling sanctuary was also a US naval base until 1975, so it's a great place to find remnants, such as a rusted tank, along the shore. (B/L/D)

Hiking is the highlight of Virgin Gorda, where nature trails lead to the top of Gorda Peak for panoramic views or across Little Fort National Park, on the former site of a Spanish fortress. The small island, less than 9 square miles (22 square kilometres), is feted for its unspoiled beaches and The Baths, where unusual boulder formations create a network of tide pools, grottoes and arches. Another attraction is the the Copper Mine, containing the ruins of 19th-century shafts, set against the azure sea. (B/L/D)

Founded by France in 1648, and briefly owned by Sweden, St Barts is a favourite of celebrities who love to indulge at its waterfront cafes, designer boutiques and stunning beaches. The exclusive harbour of the capital, Gustavia, is too small for most cruise ships but ideal for Scenic Eclipse. Soak up the atmosphere, go duty-free shopping or admire the architecture, which draws on its French and Swedish heritage. (B/L/D)

Antigua delivers on coconut palms, white sand and turquoise sea. The laid-back island is blessed with natural beauty, colourful coral gardens and rainforests full of birdlife. On the darker side, evidence of its past slavery under British rule can be found in the old plantations, forts, crumbling mansions and other ruins of the sugar-cane industry. (B/L/D)

A French overseas territory known for its low-key lifestyle, Îles des Saintes is a cluster of islets off the southern coast of Guadeloupe. The main island, Terre-de-Haut, is home to the coral-rich waters of Pain de Sucre Beach and Les Saintes Bay. Wander around the town of Bourg de Saintes, unwind with a drink or buy French cosmetics from the open-air vendors on the local streets. (B/L/D)

Swim alongside sea turtles and rays at Tobago Cays, a crystal-clear lagoon protected by a large, curved reef. A turtle colony lives off the tiny island of Baradal in a nature reserve where fishing is forbidden but snorkelling is encouraged. Locals love a beach barbecue on Petit Bateau, listening to reggae and sipping Ti Punch. (B/L/D)

Mayreau is rich in culture and tradition. The small area is easily covered, from its atmospheric towns and villages to the island's historical church. Learn about the early inhabitants as you explore the historical events that shaped Mayreau's current population. (B/L/D)

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bridgetown has 400 years of British heritage. Disembark after breakfast as you farewell the crew and take away memories of a truly unforgettable cruise. Please book your flight to depart out of Bridgetown after 12:00 PM. The itinerary is a guide only and may be amended for operational reasons. As such Scenic cannot guarantee the voyage will operate unaltered from the itinerary stated above. Please refer to our terms and conditions for further information. (B)
