Optional Experiences
- Hvar Island - Starigrad to Hvar Tour: Hop on your included transportation, with your first stop at Napoleon Fort for the best view of the surrounding islands, followed by a stop at Spanish fort (Fortica) where you can opt to buy a ticket and go in. Take a guided, scenic walk down to Hvar town through the botanical garden and stoney streets of this medieval town, with some free time to explore before driving back through the old UNESCO protected agricultural field of the ancient greeks. The last stop of the day is for dinner at a local family farm which includes a three course meal with drinks.
- Vis Island Military Tour: The Island of Vis has been an important stronghold for countless generals for millennia. Though peace now reigns on the island, there still exists a multitude of landmarks left over, such as gun emplacements and a large network of secret tunnels dug by the Yugoslav army. This tour will take you across the island with guided stops at all the must-see attractions.
- Mljet Island National Park: Visit the natural wonder that is Mljet National Park. Covering the entire north west portion of Mljet island, there is a multitude of hiking trails and mountains to explore. For those looking to expand their adventures, bikes can be rented for 70 HRK for 4 hours, double kayaks for 60 HRK or a single canoe for 40 HRK. (15-25 EUR per person)
- Mljet Island Cave of Odysseus: Visit one of the most iconic caves on the entire Adriatic Sea. Enter from either the land or a tunnel from the sea, and marvel at the bright spectrum of colors created by the sun refracting into the water from outside. Explore the large vault of the cave, and take a swim in its refreshing waters before you leave.
