Take in the spectacular beauty of the Cliffs of Moher, soaring 700 feet above the Atlantic surf. Relax on a ferry ride across the River Shannon Estuary. Travel on to Tralee where you'll dine in your hotel. (B/D)

Visit Moriarty's, a CIE Tours preferred shopping partner, in the beautiful Gap of Dunloe, then embark on Ireland's most popular scenic drive, the Ring of Kerry. You'll have plenty of photo stops along the route, which features some of Ireland's most spectacular scenery and some of the locations from the Star Wars films. Passing through Waterville and the village of Sneem, stop at Moll's Gap for views of the mountainous Macgillycuddy's Reeks.

Watch skilled artisans create sparkling masterpieces at the House of Waterford Crystal, a CIE Tours preferred shopping partner. Travel through the stunning scenery of the Wicklow Mountains on the way to Glendalough, one of Ireland's most beautiful destinations. There you'll explore the remains of one of the most important monastic sites in Ireland, founded by St. Kevin in the 6th century.

Superb guide 2 , Australia, Aug 2019
This was our first trip to Ireland. We highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Liam Murray, was superb. He was extremely well versed on all aspects of the history of each site. In addition, his wonderful sense of humour kept all of us laughing! Liam made sure each person was well cared for. Our driver, Tony, was expert at negotiating the narrow, winding read more country roads. Kudos to CIE, Liam and Tony for making this a memorable vacation!
A winning tour guide 1 , Australia, May 2018
We have had a lot of tour guides in our time, but none better than Denis OÆ Sullivan. Unlike the staccato listing of information that some folks provide or the often entertaining comedic style of some guides, Denis did an excellent job of mixing information with humour. He provided perspective on the grim history of the potato famine, various failed read more rebellions and the more recent Troubles of Northern Ireland, citing the view of these situations from both the British and Irish perspectives. He had a style of raising his own questions, pausing to allow people to offer guesses (but never criticising our ignorance) and then filling in the response. He mixed in DJ duties (introducing and then playing various musical artists) with a video presentation of the Irish favourite sport of hurling (not curling). IÆm a little more antsy/energetic than most and Denis always made an effort of provide alternate programs for people who ôwanted to get the knots out of their legs a bit moreö. What I will remember most about Denis is his use of inflection in describing the past stories or present day conflicts and features of this land. The contrast of ôsome would say...ö with ôbut I have found too that...ö with a touch of irony in his various phrasings kept the audience engaged throughout the tour. CIE has got a winner in Denis OÆSullivan.
Great tour of Ireland 2 , Australia, Apr 2017
My wife and I just finished a CIE tour of Ireland (Irish Heritage Tour). I just want to say that the tour was great. We had an amazing time, though that would not have been possible without our amazing tour director, Pat Hanrahan, and driver, Declan Ryan. They were great. We really can't say enough good things about them. Pat was one of the most intelligent read more people I have ever met. He was able to recite hours and hours of relevant Irish history, from names and dates to events. It was extremely interesting. Declan was a great, courteous, and safe driver. It is tour guides like these, authentic people that know their country, love their country, and love doing these tours that make CIE great.
