Embarkation from 4:00pm
Your festive journey begins in the charming “City of Three Rivers,” Passau. After a relaxed check-in, our cruise team welcomes you with a stylish aperitif. Then, enjoy a carefully curated welcome dinner in the Panorama Restaurant as your ship sets sail toward the imperial grandeur of Vienna.
Exploring Vienna
Your first stop is the Austrian capital, Vienna. Take in the city's magnificent architecture on a scenic afternoon tour and admire the treasures of this former imperial seat of the Habsburgs. In the evening, return to your ship and prepare to cross into Hungary the following day.
New Year's Eve in Budapest
Arrive in Hungary's “Queen of the Danube” at lunchtime. A city tour introduces you to Budapest's countless cultural treasures, followed by a festive evening cruise with folk performances along the illuminated riverside. As midnight strikes, celebrate the New Year in true style aboard your floating luxury hotel.
Leisure & New Year's Morning
On New Year's Day, your ship departs Budapest at lunchtime, leaving the morning free for your own plans. Stroll through the city on your own, relax in the spacious Panorama Bar, or take a peaceful walk on the sun deck as the New Year begins at your own pace.
Bratislava & Culinary Delights
Overnight, your AMADEUS ship reaches Bratislava. In the morning, enjoy a relaxed city tour with sweeping views from the castle hill and a stroll through the charming Old Town. In the afternoon, indulge in AMADEUS Taste Experience: Honey & Beer – the Golden Duo. Take the tram to a local restaurant and sample three distinctive beers with traditional Slovak pastry, then discover the sweeter side with three honey varieties paired with a fine mead. A true culinary journey through the region's flavors. In the evening, the ship sets sail again toward Austria as you prepare for another elegant gala dinner.
The Winter Beauty of the Wachau Valley
Spend the morning on board, taking in the stunning winter scenery as the ship glides through the UNESCO-listed Wachau Valley. Around midday, arrive in Melk/Emmersdorf, where an optional excursion to the magnificent Melk Abbey is available. Return on board for the final stretch of your journey.
Disembarkation after breakfast
