Early morning brings you to Bamberg, a city steeped in history as an imperial and episcopal center. After breakfast, join a unique excursion exploring Bamberg's Advent and Christmas traditions. Wander through the festively decorated streets, uncover old customs from St. Martin to Epiphany, and learn about the curious “Pfeffern,” the apple trees that bore fruit on Christmas Eve, and how the prince-bishop celebrated his holiday. Discover tales of the “Perlefex,” who roamed the streets during the mystical Raunächte, along with charming local legends that bring the season to life.

Würzburg – Franconian Festivities

This morning, a guided walk introduces you to the highlights of Würzburg's historic center. Stroll across the market square with the iconic Falkenhaus, admire the Marienkapelle, and take in the views from the Alte Mainbrücke. Pause at the Würzburg Christmas Market to enjoy handcrafted treasures, festive treats, and a warming cup of mulled wine. In the afternoon, continue to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a medieval gem on the Romantic Road renowned for its timeless charm.

Medieval Streets & Festive Cheer

The afternoon is dedicated to the picturesque Main towns of Wertheim and Miltenberg. Guided walks reveal winding medieval alleys, the Angels' Fountain, and the Kilian Chapel in Wertheim, while in Miltenberg you'll explore the historic marketplace, the Old Town Hall, and the imposing Miltenburg. Conclude the day with a cozy seasonal gathering featuring mulled wine and traditional music, before the ship departs again ahead of dinner.

Frankfurt – City Lights & Christmas Markets

At daybreak, arrive in Frankfurt, a vibrant city known for its skyline, culinary delights, and lively atmosphere. Spend the morning exploring at your leisure, then dive into the festive buzz of the Frankfurt Christmas Market directly from the ship. Over 200 decorated stalls offer handmade crafts, gifts, and seasonal treats, while the grand Christmas tree on Römerberg provides a magical backdrop. Later, your ship sails to Mainz, where a visit to the Gutenberg Museum awaits.

Festive Gala Dinner

Morning welcomes you to Mannheim, with the option to join a trip to romantic Heidelberg. Wander the baroque streets, admire the castle, and visit the local Christmas market. In the afternoon, sail to Speyer, one of Germany's oldest cities, and enjoy a guided stroll through the historic center, concluding with a peek at the Christkindlmarkt as evening falls. The day ends with a festive gala dinner aboard
