Budapest, the “Queen of the Danube,” captivates with its grand architecture and vibrant energy. A morning city tour reveals both. In the afternoon, explore the Danube Bend: visit the charming artist village of Szentendre, the hilltop fortress of Visegrád, and Hungary's largest church, Esztergom Basilica. By early evening, your ship meets you in the bishop's town, ready to sail toward Bratislava.

Bratislava—History, Wine & Waltz

Wake up to Bratislava, the coronation city of Slovakia. Discover St. Martin's Cathedral, the Grassalkovich Palace, and Bratislava Castle with its sweeping views over the city and Danube. A stroll through the old town leads to the Primatial Palace, the Academia Istropolitana, and the main square, with time to enjoy a traditional Pressburger Kipferl. In the afternoon, the Rača wine region invites you to a family-run vineyard for tastings amid the vines. Back on board, a waltz lesson lets you experience Vienna's dance tradition and glide elegantly across the deck.

Palaces, Promenades & Classical Music

“Griaß di!” Vienna welcomes you. The Ringstrasse city tour reveals the Opera, Parliament, Burgtheater, and City Hall. Walk through Hofburg, Kohlmarkt, and Graben to St. Stephen's Cathedral, with free time for shopping. In the afternoon, choose between a City Shuttle tour to Schönbrunn, the Opera, or Schwedenplatz, or an e-bike ride to Klosterneuburg Abbey along the idyllic Danube. The day ends with the “Sound of Vienna” concert: waltzes, arias, and operettas - a feast for the senses.

Cruising the Romantic Wachau

A morning to marvel at Dürnstein Abbey, set in a timeless town. Our panoramic cruise through the UNESCO-listed Wachau valley offers vineyard-covered hills, castle ruins, and the magnificent Melk Abbey, with its 100,000-volume library. After docking in Emmersdorf, explore this baroque jewel on a guided tour.

Excursion to the Mozart-town of Salzburg

Early morning arrival in Linz. Stroll through the old town, admire grand townhouses, Renaissance villas, and the cathedral with the Bruckner organ. A view from the Pilgrimage Basilica on Pöstlingberg completes the cityscape. Treat yourself to a slice of Linzer Torte with coffee. Alternatively, take a day trip to Salzburg, Mozart's birthplace, and explore the baroque old town, including the Mozart House and Getreidegasse. After lunch, enjoy the scenic Mondsee before returning to Linz and your ship.

Bavarian evening on board

After breakfast, embark on a culinary journey through Passau: savor regional specialties from creamy Obatzda to delicate pralines and select local drinks while wandering the charming old town. In the afternoon, hike to the imposing Veste Oberhaus, one of Europe's largest preserved fortresses, and enjoy panoramic views over the city and rivers. Return to the ship for a lively Bavarian evening with music, local treats, and festive décor.
