Highly recommend this tour. Great hotels, pace was good, saw some fantastic sights. Costa Del Sol not that good, hotel good but too much of a tourist holiday destination. But would certainly do it again. Loved the Spanish food wine and people.

Great tour. We had a wonderful guide and our bus driver was awesome. The sights and tours we experienced really did give us an insight into the culture, history and people of Spain and Portugal.

I think the tour was very hectic, I thought it was supposed to be easy paced. Some the Optionals were not worth it. We had to choose our Optionals and pay for them on the second day. I did not like having my friends name only being used on all hotel accommodation, and Insights correspondence being sent to her and the booking being in her name. We were going as friends and live at separate addresses. We both paid the same for our trip and both names should have been used with all tour information with each tour itinerary being sent ...read more separately. Tour was very good with plenty to see and good weather, the only problem being the optional excursions had to be paid too early before we had seen what the optional excursions entailed. Some were value for money and some were definitely not. We were told by the tour guide that if we changed our minds on any optional tour we could get out money back but when we cancelled the last optional tour 5 days early we were then told the excursion had been pre-paid and could not be changed. However, the tour was quite enjoyable.

We really enjoyed our tour of Spain and Portugal and had many wonderful experiences. Toni, the tour guide, was fantastic and gave us great insights into these two amazing countries. Our tour consultant, Georgie, was most helpful in helping us to organise our trip with to ensure that everything went smoothly.

The optional excursions are an extra cost and sometimes mean a late night, or touring part of a rest day, but we think they are worth the extra effort. As each region of Spain is different in landscape and culture and Portugal is quite different again every day was a new adventure. There were a couple of long drives but the comfort of the coach, including wi-fi, and the ability of the driver to provide a smooth ride, adequate stops and keep to the timetable helped those days to pass ASAP. Hotels were sometimes quite fancy othertimes less grand but almost always central and near a supermarket.

A very good tour. Covered everything i wanted to see and more. The bus was very comfortable with plenty of leg room. Not too many people, so everything moved smoothly. Tony our tour guide had a great knowledge of every area, and our local guides were excellent. The only thing that could have been improved is the hotel in Madrid and the hotel in Valencia. ...read more Hardly any air conditioning in Husa Reina and it was very hot but it's position was excellent. I did 8 optional excursions that were all very worthwhile.

We had a wonderful time on our holiday. The tour was excellent and the tour director, Toni, was very very good at his job and made our Spain and Portugal experience that much better! Very well organised tour. Perhaps the itinerary could be varied to include some nature parks if possible. Guide was really first class with her personality and knowledge of the cities visited.

The tour was a great success. Previously I had driven around Spain and Portugal, but being driven by an expert who knew all the best routes and having hotels and meals arranged was much more relaxing. It was constantly interesting and informative. We were taken to out of the way places which we would not have known about on our own. The bus was comfortable with lots of room to relax. As well as the organized parts we were frequently left on our own to wander around interesting places and find shops and cafes. All the hotels were really good, some much better than we normally choose. Breakfasts and dinners were very good. I can think of absolutely nothing to complain about in the whole time of our journey.

Really enjoyed the 'Best of Spain & Portugal'. Tour guide was very professional but relaxed. Places visited were very interesting. Loved the fact that there was so much leg room on the bus. Enjoyed the Spanish lifestyle.
