A great tour, fast paced but needed to be to cover the sites and distances. Enjoyed it very much and saw many fabulous sites. Accommodation however varied considerably for different members on the same tour group. Many hotels however did not provide tea and coffee to tour group members which was a little disappointing.

Very good tour, although quite hectic. Saw a lot in the time, so a good pace was required. Would chose an easier (slower) tour next time.

Best of Europe August 2013. I travelled alone and did not pay the single supplement so shared a room. Tour guide Davor was beyond excellent as was our driver Flavio. The optionals were quite expensive and next trip I would definitely consider stepping up to a Globus one and paying the extra to get the better hotels/locations and also a lot of the optionals on Cosmos are included with Globus. On my arrival in London the driver did not arrive to pick me up at the airport and I needed to make 2 phone calls before someone finally arrived an hour and a half after my plane landed. I had been up for 28 hours at that stage so was exhausted and unimpressed. When I commented to my driver that I had been waiting a long time he said 'Oh well, we're busy tonight'. Saw some amazing places and made some wonderful new friends. Overall a great adventure. Thank you to Georgie for organising everything for me. This was my first time with an online agent and I am not sure it suited my personality. I am a bit of a worrier and I think I would be better suited to an agent that I can go and see face to face with my concerns. This is only my personal preference and does not reflect on the service I received from Global Journeys.

Every detail of the tour was very well organized. The itinerary everyday was compacted and yet there was still time for tea/coffee and shopping. The tour director, in addition to being informative, was humorous and this made the tour most enjoyable.

Having toured before with other operators, I've experienced 34 day tours and just felt too rushed on this tour. I also regretted booking so many excursions as there was never time to stop, mingle with locals and just absorb the atmosphere.... always rushing!

Excellent service by Global Journeys and Cosmos however this type of tour is a bit hectic for me and would prefer a tour of more leisure days and less driving.

Our tour guide, Marise was excellent and very helpful (also very patient with some quite difficult people!). The tour was very comprehensive and the 'Whispers' are excellent and really enhance the tour experience.

The tour was amazing. Unbelievable how much you can see in 15 days. We saw everything from the Eiffel Tower to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. We experienced things we only dreamed about like the 'Changing of the Guard' in London to standing in the middle of the mighty Colosseum in Rome. The optional tours were value for money, and even though we only participated ...read more in just over half of what was offered, we are satisfied that our time was utilized well. Our tour guide Attila, was very informative and very easy to talk to and get alone with. The pace of this tour is very fast, as there were a lot of one night stays. But overall, (even though we were tired most nights) was extremely happy with the amount of distance we traveled and the amazing things that we were lucky enough to witness. Also we feel that our Tour Consultant Georgie, was very easy to correspond with, very accessible, (even to the point where she was answering emails on her days off) and we are very grateful to her for organising such a wonderful first overseas experience for us. This trip was our first experience of a coach tour so did not really know what to expect. We had a fabulous time and I think I can say, exceeded our expectations. We had an amazing time on our Cosmos 'Best of Europe' Tour and we have nothing but praise for the company, our tour director and our driver. I had a good time travelling throughout Europe. Some of the side excursions that were on offer however I don't think were value for money. The night time Lido show in Paris was a total waste of money and for the extra money would have preferred to have seen the real Moulen Rouge performance. The Amsterdam visit to a fishing village and wind mill tour ...read more wasn't very good you were bused there and then just left to wonder the streets. No guide or information about the area was a bit disappointing. Some of the food stops were not really appropriate either, not sure if any of the consultants have been on the 19 day tour and actually eaten at these stops. Apart from that a good time was had by all.

Fantastic... Guide Michael was brilliant, sights were great, tour extras were great, driver safe and friendly, The who trip ran very smoothly, will definitely travel with cosmos again. We saw places we would never have seen had we just traveled independently. We did all the added extras and found it was great value for money. The coach was extremely comfortable although the fact that the toilet was unusable was in a couple of instances quite embarrassing for people to whom the call of nature came suddenly when there was still an hour ...read more or more to the next stop. The hotels were fine and we asked for 3 beds in each room and were accommodated. In two of the hotels we actually had two rooms. I would certainly recommend the tours to anyone and would certainly book my next tour through you.

The tour was great. Met alot of great people. It would be nice to have a one day break inbetween the tour to regain our energy. A day of just relaxing by the beach or other leisurely activities. This was the first tour we had done, We had a fantastic group, everyone always on time so no delays anywhere for the entire 16 days. We found it too busy if you took up all the options. No time for sightseeing apart from the scheduled stops. The actual stops we had were very good, and we were pleased with everything we did and saw. The hotels were all ...read more very very good. The included dinners were probably 50% okay as were the breakfasts, however we did not go hungry. We did ask the Tour Director on one occasion as we were not taking up the optional 'tour' and as the hotel was out of town if we could travel with the group into the City and find our own way back. This we were told was not possible due to 'insurance', though on another day we accommodated a member of the tour groups son and his girlfriend, so that was a bit of double standards on the part of the Tour Director. Basically it was a fun tour and we are glad we did it, so many thanks to you all.

We did a 16 Day Best of Europe Tour with Cosmos - it couldn't have been any better. Our tour guide was excellent, we found her to be on the ball at all times and very helpful with any of the hiccups the passengers had. As for Global Journeys we dealt with Yvonne and once again she answered all of our queries in the lead up to our tour promptly, all our paper work for the tour was sent through when she said it would. She was great to deal with, pretty much between Global Journeys and Cosmos Tours everything was smooth sailing. What more could we ask for...the answer is NOTHING! I also will be recommending Global Journeys to our friends for their future holiday bookings. We only have good stories to tell about both companies. We couldn't be happier.

Tour Director... Janos Juranyi... fantastic, well organised, knowledgable, was good fun, but stayed calm and professional and kept the group on track. Coach Driver... Carlos... fantastic, we felt safe all the way, he knew each city we went to, again he was good fun, polite, helpful and very professional. Hotels... All others selected were clean and comfortable and the breakfasts/dinners were very acceptable. Tour content... Just what we were looking for... a taste of everything, with a good amount of the extra excursions if you wanted them. The local guides were excellent... particularly Stephan in Rome, Leonardo in Capri, and in Popmei... all fun, knowledgable, made the places come alive. Would recommend this tour to everyone from 12 years up who are fit enough for extended walks on rough ground. ie the cobbles in Pompei.

The tour was great. I loved the fact we saw alot .. but .. that made it really very tiring. Next time, i would choose the same company as it was value for money but, I would certainly try for at least 2-3 days in each place. The places that we slept for one night were useless. We did not see much, so Brussles, Ulm, etc were non events .. but Italy ...read more was great! Another thing, I did not realise that the hotels were all out of town. I think people should be made aware of this, and I think if the coach is going into town for an evening tour they should be able to give the others a lift in. Everyone on our coach was upset about this. Anyway, all in all, I would certainly travel with Cosmos again. I am now aware of how it all works, so I'll plan longer stays. Oh and Georgie at Global Journeys was great with the bookings.

We had a fantastic time on this tour and would highly recommend it. Just enough time to see the main sights of Europe - Venice, Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, the Swiss Alps...the list goes on... Definitely recommend leaving the tour in Paris so you can spend more time in this incredible city.
