Vietnam and Cambodia Discovery Reviews

I had an absolutely wonderful holiday. I have booked twice before with Global Journeys and I would not hesitate to do so again. Nothing is too much trouble and everything went smoothly. We had a mixture of age groups and everyone gelled very well. I would suggest if going to Cambodia that maybe a cooler time of year would be better than the 44 degree heat we had.

I had a few reservations before going to SE Asia feeling that this region was out of my comfort zone. This was our first tour and I have to say it was the best holiday I have ever had! I loved every minute of it and couldn't fault anything - except perhaps that we were all caught out by exceptionally cold weather in Hanoi and froze in our summer clothes! read more I really feel that I have the travel bug now and can't wait to peruse the options for another tour next year ( and the year after.....). Loved it!!

Our trip with APT through Vietnam and Cambodia was a real eye opener. Accommodation was first class, tour operators and guides were excellent. My favourite part of the tour was our two days on Ha Long Bay, it is such a spectacular sight and to top it off we had New Years Eve on board which was greatly enjoyed. The river cruise was lovely but the poverty read more and the history that we heard was a bit depressing. Our hotels in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh city and Siem Reap were wonderful. Both boats, Ha Long Bay and Mekong River were excellent and the service and staff were wonderful.
