Farewell your Tour Director this morning, board your flight from Vancouver to Campbell River, situated on the east coast of Vancouver Island. Upon check in at the Comfort Inn & Suites, a Knight Inlet Welcome pack will be waiting your collection. The Welcome Pack will contain important information including your mandatory waivers and medical + dietary requirements forms. Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the information within this pack.
After checking into your hotel, explore the town. Get a taste of the wonders in store as you stroll along Discovery Pier and look out over the views of Discovery Passage, Quadra Island and the Coast Mountain Range on British Columbia’s mainland. (B)
Take a floatplane flight to Glendale Cove, Knight Inlet and check into your two-night stay at Knight Inlet – a beautiful floating lodge. Embark on a bear viewing adventure at Glendale Cove, home to one of the largest concentrations of the majestic grizzly bear in British Columbia.
Break for lunch at the lodge before heading back in search of more bears followed by a sightseeing cruise. Enjoy the opportunity to spot splendid wildlife like seals, sea lions and dolphins and take in the magnificent scenery of thundering waterfalls, ancient glaciers and towering mountains.
