Itinerary

Welcome to France and the bustling city of Nice, one of the most famous ports of the Côte d'Azur. It offers an intriguing blend of French and Italian cultures.

You'll be welcomed on board your Discovery Yacht by the Captain and the crew, meet your butler and settle into your spacious verandah suite.

Please book your flight to arrive into Nice prior to 02:00 PM. (D)

The oldest city in France, Marseille dates to 600BC. Today, it's a fast-paced, modern city brimming with multicultural flavours, and flanked by breathtaking natural scenery and golden beaches. This is a place where grit and grandeur meet, offering a fascinating insight into contemporary French culture. Explore its ancient streets and diverse neighbourhoods, marvel at iconic landmarks such as the Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde and treat yourself to the freshest seafood and traditional delicacies. Marseille is also the gateway to the region of Provence, famous for its wine and cuisine. (B/L/D)

Saint-Tropez, once a quiet fishing village, became a glamorous travel destination in the 1950s, thanks to Brigitte Bardot and the film And God Created Woman. Today, it still retains all the glitz and glamour, alongside glittering blue seas, stunning beaches and a bohemian art scene. Stroll along the cobblestone streets of the old fishing quarter of La Ponche, and revel in the abstract architecture and sunlit landscapes that inspired great artists and filmmakers. With a late departure, see Saint-Tropez come alive after dark. (B/L/D)

Welcome to the cinematic capital of the world. Explore haute-couture boutiques, relax on striped sun loungers along the beach, or sip cocktails at chic beachside bars. There's plenty of history and culture to be found in this coastal enclave, but it's really a place to relax and soak up the champagne lifestyle that plays out alongside the sparkling Mediterranean every day. (B/L/D)

An ancient town dating back to the days of the Greeks and Romans, Antibes has stolen the hearts of many writers, poets and artists over the centuries. Only small ships can dock here, so Scenic Eclipse II will be one of few passenger vessels in port, elegantly cruising beside traditional wooden fishing boats. The stunning old town is a maze of narrow cobbled streets with an iconic skyline looking out over the water. Pablo Picasso lived much of his life here and the 16th century Chateau Grimaldi is now a national museum dedicated to his work. (B/L/D)

Calvi, on the French island of Corsica, has a long and illustrious history. It was founded in the 13th century and its fiery medieval citadel still stands. It has been a tourist hotspot since the 1920s, thanks to its moon shaped bay lined with a golden, sandy beach and forested mountains on the horizon. Today, it has the feel of a chic resort on the French Riviera, with waterfront restaurants, luxury hotels and multi-million dollar yachts at anchor. (B/L/D)

Welcome to Sanremo, the "City of Flowers" on the stunning Riviera dei Fiori. At its heart, the iconic Casino exudes glamour, while the Old Port (Porto Vecchio) offers a picturesque marina to admire yachts. Explore the historic La Pigna district, with its charming cobbled streets, colourful houses, and traditional shops. Don't miss the Ariston Theatre, home to the famous Sanremo Italian Song Festival. (B/L/D)

Today is the day - the Formula 1 Circuit du Monaco winds through the narrow city streets, making for a unique and exhilarating racing experience. There are viewing points and ticketed^ grandstands all along the track. Be swept up in the thrilling atmosphere of this iconic race.

Away from the track, Monte Carlo has plenty to offer. Explore the old town of Monaco, admire the Place du Casino designed by the famous architect Charles Garnier and learn the history of the Grimaldi royal family. (B/L/D)

Even if the town of Marina di Carrara is new to you, you'll be familiar with its most famous export. The world-famous Carrara marble that's been quarried here for more than 2,000 years. Many of Italy's most famous works of art, like Michelangelo's David, began their life here.

Marina di Carrara sits on the coast, tucked between sandy beaches and forested mountains. Today, bask on the sand or at one of the many beach clubs that line the shore. Or take a shuttle into Carrara town, where everything from fountains to cathedrals to pavements are made from their signature stone. (B/L/D)

Nestled in Italy's romantic Tuscany region, Porto Ercole is a charming harbor town with a picturesque bay, where luxury yachts and colorful fishing boats gently bob on the water. Known for its vibrant, colorful buildings that reflect authentic Italian style, Porto Ercole offers a serene and idyllic atmosphere. Surrounded by a stunning rocky coastline, the town is framed by small, tranquil bays accessible by sea, with waters that shimmer in shades from emerald green to vibrant turquoise. A late departure means more time to enjoy this Mediterranean hidden gem. (B/L/D)

This morning, you will arrive in Civitavecchia, the seaport for the Italian capital city of Rome. After a final breakfast at the Yacht Club, say farewell to your crew and take away memories of a truly unforgettable voyage.
