Touring New Zealand with Grand Pacific 2 , VIC, Australia, Mar 2023
Our tour with Grand Pacific, was a signature tour with an extremely comfortable bus, and a group of approximately 30. Although arriving a day early and leaving New Zealand a day after the tour ended we were provided with airport transfers which were prompt and efficient.

We toured both the south and the north island and were looked after very well read more by the tour guide and bus driver. We saw most of the highlights of New Zealand, a beautiful country with lots to see. The distances travelled on the South island were long, but the scenery beautiful and the hotels comfortable. North island was less arduous, and the scenery again beautiful but different to the South. The booking process with Hannah as usual was pleasant and efficient.
Great NZ Tour 1 , WA, Australia, Feb 2023
Tour was great although it did get disrupted with Covid but from the start Hannah was great with all documentation needed and the Grand Pacific Tour was good value for money.
Wonderful New Zealand   1 , VIC, Australia, Jan 2023
We had a fantastic experience all round- from booking to completion of the holiday. Tracey Standing was professional and efficient and so easy to deal with. The Grand Pacific 16 day tour of both islands was an incredible holiday. The guide and driver were knowledgeable, helpful, and hard working to meet the groups needs. I would highly recommend Grand read more Pacific. The journey was packed with sights and choices of activities. Our fellow travellers were an amazing group of people. It was excellent value - accommodation and food was of a very good standard. I am so glad we booked it ! Thank you Global journeys and Grand Pacific.
NZ tour 1 , NSW, Australia, Jan 2023
Overall quality of travel with GPT was good. Breakfast and Dinner selection were good quality. Tour Guide and Drivers were supportive and knowledgeable. However few selections could have been better. Night stay at Omarama was ordinary as room did not have fan/aircon and it was bit hot at night. Our flight from Sydney to Christchurch was booked via Auckland read more where due to International to domestic transitioning carrying out quarantine and transfer was real hassle with such a short span of time. I expected direct flight as so many options available from Sydney to Christchurch. At least as minimum terminal transfer should have been organised by GPT as part of trip which was not.
16 day Affordable highlights of New Zealand with Grand Pacific   1 , VIC, Australia, Jan 2023
The whole experience from booking with Tracey at Global Journeys to saying farewell to our Grand Pacific tour leader and fellow passengers on the trip has been wonderful.

New Zealand kept on giving: Mount Cook, clear azure lakes, glaciers, Milford Sound, glowworm caves, boat trips, Queenstown four wheel drive, tours through Wellington, Auckland, read more Dunedin, Christchurch, mountains, sea, rivers, museums and cultural events. Hotels were clean, plentiful food, great company and brilliant experienced leader and drivers. I highly recommend the whole experience. Tiring but well worth it!
Grand Pacific coach tour of New Zealand 1 , Co Wicklow, Ireland, Jan 2023
This trip was booked before Covid. My dream holiday to New Zealand lived up to my expectations in spite of the not so good weather on North Island. Georgie answered all my queries promptly and efficiently and I will have no hesitation of booking with Global Journeys again.
Loved the NZ South Island 2 , NSW, Australia, Nov 2022
The first part of our trip through NZ South Island met and exceeded our expectation in terms of the scenery and places we visited. The valleys, lakes and snow-capped mountains where spectacular! We realise that long distances had to be covered but found some of the comfort and lunch stops very short. Regrettably, illness prevented us from completing read more the rest of the tour of North Island but our Global Journeys agent was as helpful as she could be in facilitating the necessary arrangements.
Amazing Grand Pacific 17 Day Tour of New Zealand   1 , NSW, Australia, Oct 2022

Great accommodation and meals. Loved the Auckland "All Blacks Experience" bonus. Highly recommend Global journeys and Grand Pacific Tours.
Tour of New Zealand's North and south   1 , NSW, Australia, Oct 2022
Had such a good time. 45 people in a bus you don’t have to worry where you sit but it was fun. North and south of NZ was covered with professionalism. Cannot fault it. And NZ is a very pretty and interesting country and people.
New Zealand - an experience worth having again 3 , VIC, Australia, Jan 2020
We’ve just arrived back from our NZ trip and were overwhelmed by the beauty and variety of this engaging country. We travelled from Christchurch, down the east coast to Dunedin, then across to Te Anau and Queenstown before heading up the West Coast through glaciers, fjords, alps, and finally pausing at Arthur's Pass. The TranzAlpine train brought us read more back to Christchurch before we headed to Picton and were ferried across to the North Island.

From a night in Wellington we headed to Rotorua for some cultural experiences and exposure to geysers and bubbling mud. We organised an option of our own, venturing to Matamata for a half-day Hobbiton tour, then rejoining our group we went on to Auckland for an hour before motoring to Paihia. A cruise to (and through) the Hole in the Rock was followed by a quick walk around Russel before heading back to Auckland to fly home.

What a whirlwind of an experience. We couldn’t call it a holiday given the pace and the waking hours but we gorged on natural beauty, visited museums, learned new cultures, cruised glacial waters, marvelled at earthquake devastation, scaled the heights and depths of man made structures, all while travelling in luxury and eating like royalty. We were exhausted but delighted.

Our tour guide ensured everyone's needs were met with a great degree of professionalism. Tours were organised on the run, advice given, directions were clear, and even the odd traveller's mishap was handled with aplomb. The drivers on both the North Island and South Island were equally professional and each fountains of local knowledge. Their commentary was engaging and their skilful manoeuvring of the coach around tight city streets and precipitous mountain roads had everyone feeling safe and comfortable at all times. We would gladly book with Global Journeys and travel Grand Pacific again. In fact, next time we travel they'll be the first places we look!
