Our tour with Grand Pacific, was a signature tour with an extremely comfortable bus, and a group of approximately 30. Although arriving a day early and leaving New Zealand a day after the tour ended we were provided with airport transfers which were prompt and efficient.

We saw most of the highlights of New Zealand, a beautiful country with lots to see. The distances travelled on the South island were long, but the scenery beautiful and the hotels comfortable. North island was less arduous, and the scenery again beautiful but different to the South. The booking process with Hannah as usual was pleasant and efficient.

Tour was great although it did get disrupted with Covid but from the start Hannah was great with all documentation needed and the Grand Pacific Tour was good value for money.

Overall quality of travel with GPT was good. Breakfast and Dinner selection were good quality. Tour Guide and Drivers were supportive and knowledgeable. However few selections could have been better. Night stay at Omarama was ordinary as room did not have fan/aircon and it was bit hot at night. Our flight from Sydney to Christchurch was booked via Auckland ...read more where due to International to domestic transitioning carrying out quarantine and transfer was real hassle with such a short span of time. I expected direct flight as so many options available from Sydney to Christchurch. At least as minimum terminal transfer should have been organised by GPT as part of trip which was not.

The whole experience from booking with Tracey at Global Journeys to saying farewell to our Grand Pacific tour leader and fellow passengers on the trip has been wonderful.

Hotels were clean, plentiful food, great company and brilliant experienced leader and drivers. I highly recommend the whole experience. Tiring but well worth it!

This trip was booked before Covid. My dream holiday to New Zealand lived up to my expectations in spite of the not so good weather on North Island. Georgie answered all my queries promptly and efficiently and I will have no hesitation of booking with Global Journeys again.

The first part of our trip through NZ South Island met and exceeded our expectation in terms of the scenery and places we visited. The valleys, lakes and snow-capped mountains where spectacular! A great relaxing 17 days touring both north and south islands of new zealand. Well looked after by Global journeys and Grand Pacific Tours. Excellent Tour Leader, coach drivers and commentary. Great accommodation and meals. Loved the Auckland "All Blacks Experience" bonus. Highly recommend Global journeys and Grand Pacific Tours.

Had such a good time. 45 people in a bus you don’t have to worry where you sit but it was fun. North and south of NZ was covered with professionalism. Cannot fault it. And NZ is a very pretty and interesting country and people.

We’ve just arrived back from our NZ trip and were overwhelmed by the beauty and variety of this engaging country. From a night in Wellington we headed to Rotorua for some cultural experiences and exposure to geysers and bubbling mud. We organised an option of our own, venturing to Matamata for a half-day Hobbiton tour, then rejoining our group we went on to Auckland for an hour before motoring to Paihia. A cruise to (and through) the Hole in the Rock was followed by a quick walk around Russel before heading back to Auckland to fly home.

What a whirlwind of an experience. We couldn’t call it a holiday given the pace and the waking hours but we gorged on natural beauty, visited museums, learned new cultures, cruised glacial waters, marvelled at earthquake devastation, scaled the heights and depths of man made structures, all while travelling in luxury and eating like royalty. We were exhausted but delighted.

Our tour guide ensured everyone's needs were met with a great degree of professionalism. Tours were organised on the run, advice given, directions were clear, and even the odd traveller's mishap was handled with aplomb. The drivers on both the North Island and South Island were equally professional and each fountains of local knowledge. Their commentary was engaging and their skilful manoeuvring of the coach around tight city streets and precipitous mountain roads had everyone feeling safe and comfortable at all times. We would gladly book with Global Journeys and travel Grand Pacific again. In fact, next time we travel they'll be the first places we look!

It was a very well organised holiday by Grand Pacific, I would recommend this operator. It was good weather most of the places, only in Milford Sound it was raining and we missed stunning views of the fiordland. Our Tour Guide, Raewyn Moors, was very friendly and took care of everyone. About accommodations it could have been a little better in Bay of Islands (facing the sea was better as we stayed 2 nights). Food was good for non vegetarians, for me as vegetarian I had problems in Ibis, Wellington, Sudima Hotel Lake Rotorua. Passengers were very nice and cooperative. Overall it was a very nice and memorable holiday we had.

A well organised, well paced comprehensive tour of both the north and south islands of New Zealand. The tour included a lot of highlights and opportunity to do a number of optional tours. We had a great tour.

I was asked to go up on stage and get involved with the Maori ladies. It was a fun time for all. A good cross cultural experience. We also went to a Maori museum. Our tour guide was a very knowledgeable lady who told us a lot about her culture. The geysers were very active at the time of our visit. We had 2 very good coach drivers. One in the North Island and the other in the South Island. Our tour guide was the best. We have lovely photos and great memories.

Global Journeys booked my tour of New Zealand and I travelled with Grand Pacific Tours. Excellent drivers for South and North Islands and one continuous tour guide. Drivers were full of information about their country and were willing to detour if time and weather permitted. No hiccups with my booking including airfares, transfers, all was great. Would definitely recommend and use for the future.

I had wanted to travel New Zealand for many years, but my husband wasn't interested, so I took the plunge and booked as a solo traveller and found it very easy and would not hesitate to travel like this again. Had a wonderful time, met some lovely and interesting people. Great holiday.

We enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was good. Our coach drivers were very well informed and helpful. Our tour hostess was marvellous - so kind and thoughtful. Apart from an issue with being given the wrong door key number at the Inis in Wellington we had no other problems with the accommodation. It’s a pity the West Coast was flooded so we did not get to see Fox Glacier or land on the snow. Our Coach driver Gordon & tour director Geoff were the best!! They interacted with the passengers making our trip relaxed & fun, so much fun! This was on the South Island.

Yvonne our driver on the North Island was a pleasant & personable person, but felt she failed a little when it came to commentary. However she had very big shoes to fill after the previous duo! Nothing was too much for Geoff if he was asked for advice he was willing to suffice. I found him polite & caring. He did his utmost to track down the loss of my camera, unfortunately to no avail.

The commentary between these two was exceptional. It was very interesting & so informative to be told about their beautiful country. As we meandered our way through the rolling hills, winded our way through the mountains, with precision driving by Gordon. Viewed the lush green countryside full of farms with sheep, cattle & deer... never knew there were so many breeds of sheep! The sustainable fruit & vegetables being grown dotted throughout are highly commendable.

Then there were the fun things we did. What a holiday!! Something for everyone! The accommodation chosen was outstanding. Congratulations on that front! Food was of the highest quality & plenty of it! Walter Peak, was a very big highlight. However, there were many! Of course Milford Sound was breathtaking, our helicopter flight to Fox, Franz & over Mount Cook was enviable. The inclusions in our tour were amazing & coach comfort was outstanding.

All in all very good value on the whole. I cannot rate anything less, but the best! Thank you so much for making my holiday relaxing, full of fun & memorable. Keep up the good work! I will definitely recommend this firm to my friends & family. I just wish Grand Pacific did tours other than in New Zealand as I think I still want to travel overseas & would certainly choose you to travel with Grand Pacific again.

We took the 16 day Affordable Highlights tour with Grand Pacific. We have taken 9 other land tours all over the world prior to this one. It was a good tour, not the best but not the worst, in our opinion a little above average, considering the cost. It was one of the most expensive tours we have taken.

The accommodation, except for 1 night in Omarama, ...read more was excellent. The included activities were all excellent, except for the cruise in Queenstown. Our main complaint was that on 2 nights during the tour, we had a late night followed by an early morning wake up.
