Established as a trading hub along ancient caravan routes, Mandawa is dotted with havelis (traditional houses) which often featured lavish courtyards that once belonged to traders who made their fortunes here. Stay: Mandawa Haveli
Settle in for the morning drive to Jodhpur. Arrive in the afternoon to the second largest city in Rajasthan, often called the “Blue City” for the vast number of houses painted in the colour. Take a short climb to the top of a hill to reach the Mehrangarh Fort, one of the largest forts in India. In the morning, travel to Jaipur—one of the most important heritage cities in India—commonly known as "The Pink City." First, try your hand at block printing with the women of the Anoothi Project before an afternoon orientation walk, then continue exploring on your own.
