Essence of the Kimberley   1 , NSW, Australia, May 2025
The trip was above our expectations. APT were superb. The Bungle Bungles are a wonder of the World. Thank you Maisie for your contribution.
Beautiful Bungle Bungles 1 , New South Wales, Australia, Jul 2022
Just returned from a 9 day trip of the Kimberley’s. Beautiful, breathtaking and wonderful. Booked through Global Journeys over 3 years ago with COVID delays and Hannah Campbell navigated us through all the delays and rebooking with expertise. We travelled with APT, who didn’t quite deliver on the promoted itinerary, which was disappointing. However, read more Trish and Ellie - our Driver-Tour Guides we’re absolutely amazing and managed several curve balls with outstanding customer service and a smile. A great trip.
Kimberley Gampling with APT 1 , WA, Australia, Jul 2022
Apart from the initial issue with pick up from hotels which impacted most on our trip, the trip surpassed all our expectations and this was largely due to great APT tour guide Nick who made the trip a memorable one. The camping arrangement were excellent together with the evening dinning. I would highly recommend the trip to the Kimberley’s with APT.
Fantastic tour of the Kimberley 2 , CA, United States, Sep 2019
Our tour through the Kimberley was all that we were hoping for. We were treated like royalty and the small group size meant that the guide could be very accommodating. The tour does cover a lot of ground so we were on the move a lot. The 15-day tour might be better than the 9-day in that respect. Yvonne and Global Journeys were very informative and read more made the booking process really easy. I'd definitely go through them again.

A note of caution: we were on the road for a month before the tour started so communication before the tour started was difficult. For example, the hotel lost the documentation we were supposed to pick up. But everything worked out.
Adventure Tour Through The Kimberleys 3 , NSW, Australia, Aug 2019
Global Journeys were very good to book through, helpful all the way. Enjoyed our tour Guide who did an amazing job - she did everything - drove the bus, organised food, luggage, hikes and other activities, with a great knowledge of the area and of Aboriginal Culture! Rather strenuous hikes on rough terrain into the gorges - needed to be fit and agile. read more Food very good and accommodation reasonably good, but you are in remote areas. Lots of kilometres to travel but that is the price to pay for beautiful sights!
Fantastic Kimberley Tour 4 , NSW, Australia, Aug 2018
This was a great way to see the Kimberley and travel to places we would not normally get to see. Travelling the infamous Gibb River Rd and the even worse road to the Bungles was a highlight. Spectacular walks to Gorges where we could swim in the pools, although quite fresh, and amazing colours of the geological formations. Great chance to see lots of read more wildlife. The accommodation provided by APT and the food exceeded expectations. Our tour group was of similar age but with diverse backgrounds and all got on well. Highly enjoyed and recommend to anyone wishing to see this unspoilt part of Australia.
9 Day El Questro, Gorges & Purnululu Tour 4 , NSW, Australia, Jul 2018
Wonderful tour to magnificent areas of the Kimberley....made especially enjoyable by our brilliant Driver/Tour Director Kat whose knowledge and love of this unique part of Australia was fantastic. Accommodation/meals were excellent. A range of diverse activities added to the enjoyment of the tour. Global Journeys' streamlined booking system was very read more good and Hannah's attention to detail was excellent.
We felt special on this tour, a nice touch! 6 , New Zealand, Jun 2014
Probably my only comment is that although this is a 9 day trip, in reality it's 11 days, since it begins at 6am and ends after 5pm. It would be honest, and helpful, to maybe note that 'additional days may be required, before and after' or something to that effect. My understanding is that APT picks up at only 3 hotels in Broome. If we were given read more a list of those 3, perhaps we could have chosen which one. The Cable Beach Resort, however, was very nice (albeit, expensive). I certainly would have chosen to have been at a resort that had a direct pickup. APT, and our guide, Kat, were extremely competent. t was obvious they do many trips, but we felt special on this tour. A nice touch!
Disappointed by the low level of physical activity 4 , Australia, Jul 2012
Our Tour Guide, Jane Ballantyne, was terrific. She was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, fun and very hardworking. She is a great asset to your company and I hope she is being given opportunities to progress. The food, the itinerary, the accommodation and vehicle were all above average. The biggest disappointment was the level of activity on the ground. read more I had envisaged more walking, hiking and exercise but we were held back by some people whose physical condition made it difficult for them to undertake much physical activity. Maybe you should look at screening people so that more active people can be grouped together and more sedentary ones can be grouped. That way everyone gets what they want.
Would highly recommend this tour 3 , Australia, May 2012
Great tour. Guides were very knowledgeable and informative. Accommodation and food catering were fantastic. 4WD truck journey was very comfortable and you felt very safe. Would highly recommend this tour.
