Visit Pulau Ubin island for a taste of old Singapore, have High Tea at Raffles Hotel, and visit World War II sites.

Itinerary

You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Dinner at 6.30pm. There will also be a welcome lecture on Singapore's ‘City Within a Garden' plan, presented by a local representative. Stay Eight Nights: Singapore, Parkroyal Marina Bay or similar (D)

This morning you will explore Gardens by the Bay. The 101-hectare complex is situated in the heart of Singapore's Marina Bay and houses over a quarter of a million rare plants. You will have time to appreciate the many different areas, which include the Flower Dome, the Cloud Forest, and the OCBC Skyway. Enjoy learning about rare plants and the challenges associated with their declining environment.

In the afternoon, explore Parkroyal Marina Bay's Urban Farm at leisure. The rooftop operation produces over 60 varieties of fruit, vegetables, herbs and edible flowers, supplying the hotel in true farm-to-table fashion. (B)

Today enjoy a tour of the Singapore Botanic Gardens and the National Orchid Garden. Wander through virgin rainforest and take in the garden's collection of 1000 orchid species and 2000 hybrids.

This afternoon, visit the world-famous Raffles Hotel for High Tea and enjoy the lush gardens surrounding the iconic complex. This evening, we're mesmerized by the light display at Gardens by the Bay. (B)

This morning, visit Pulau Ubin, an island which remains largely untouched by development. The island is home to one of Singapore's last remaining traditional villages, or kampongs. The Chek Jawa Wetlands, one of the country's most biodiverse ecosystems, is also found here.

Afterwards, we visit Jewel Changi airport, an incredible glass and steel dome development, open to international travelers and locals alike. Explore the lush green oasis of the Shiseido Forest Valley and marvel at the Rain Vortex from your position along the Canopy Bridge.

Afterwards you have the option to visit the Changi Museum or continue back to our hotel. (B)

Discover the many creative and varied displays on show at the renowned Singapore Garden Festival today. We end our morning tour at Plaza Singapura, which offers many choices for lunch.

This evening, enjoy a sunset bumboat cruise along the river before dining along Clarke Quay. (B/D)

Today you will visit community gardens as part of the ‘Community in Bloom' project, a nationwide gardening movement aimed at fostering a community spirit and bringing together residents, both young and old. Visit the Kranji War Memorial before enjoying an authentic ‘farm-to-table' lunch.  This afternoon you can choose to visit the Changi Museum or enjoy an afternoon at leisure. (B/L)

Visit Fort Canning Park, an iconic hilltop landmark that has witnessed many of Singapore's historical milestones. The hill was once the site of the palaces of 14th-century kings and also served as the Headquarters of the Far East Command Centre and British Army Barracks. The decision to surrender Singapore to the Japanese on 15 February 1942 was also made on the hill, in the Underground Far East Command Centre, commonly known as Battle Box.

Today, Fort Canning Park features nine historical gardens - the Pancur Larangan, Artisan's Garden, Sang Nila Utama Garden, Jubilee Park (Phase 1), Raffles Garden, First Botanic Garden, Farquhar Garden, Spice Garden and Armenian Street Park. Fort Canning is also Singapore's first botanic garden. Later on, enjoy the afternoon at leisure. (B)

After breakfast at our hotel, visit one of Singapore's newest national gardens at Jurong Lake Gardens. Designed to be a people's garden, spaces have been created there for families and the wider community to come together. (B/D)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport as our journey reaches its end. Be sure to spend some time exploring the airport's magnificent gardens. (B)
