The sights were memorable and varied. The highlights for ...read more us were Skara Brae, the neolithic village in Orkney Islands and the Giant Causeway on the shores of Norther Ireland. I will also remember when I was asked to sit in a special chair of the late Queen Mother, at her private residence, the Castle and Gardens of Mey, (optional tour in Scotland), making the other ladies in the group a little jealous. Apparently, the late Queen Mother was rather small in stature like myself!

An excellent tour. Our Tour Director, Caroline Huyshe, was a treasure. Her knowledge and her willingness to share the culture made the tour a great experience. The pace of the tour was good, but 22 days is a long time and we were happy to get a break at the end.

Good tour. Excellent guide. Pace wasn't as relaxed as indicated in tour description. Food was OK but not great.

Tour Director was professional, knowledgeable,and approachable. We were not disappointed with the locales visited or the hotels stayed at. The dining experience was okay, but became a bit repetitive, and would like to see some variation. We did all but one of the optional tours, and mostly enjoyed them. The Irish cabaret in Dublin was let down by the ...read more atrocious seating, where we were jammed in like sardines. Only those close to the front had a good view, and we only saw bits and pieces from the waist up. The Scottish dinner and cabaret in Edinburgh is an example of how it could be done much better, ie individual tables.

We had a wonderful tour and loved the whole experience. The guide was great as was the accommodation and we thoroughly enjoyed the places we visited. Thanks for everything.
