Itinerary

Your luxurious yacht cruise begins in Bridgetown, where you’ll be transferred to your Emerald Cruises luxury yacht and embark on your discovery of the Grenadines. (D)

The Tobago Cays are an archipelago located in the southern Grenadines, famous for five small uninhabited islands: Petit Rameau, Petit Bateau, Baradal, Petit Tobac and Jamesby. The main attraction here is the Tobago Cays Marine Park, a national park and wildlife reserve. Renowned for its massive 1,400-acre lagoon, the park is surrounded by the vivid horseshoe-shaped reef. This is an idyllic area to enjoy sand-bottomed and crystal-clear waters teeming with colourful fish and turtles. (B/L/D)

The second-largest in the Grenadines Island chain, and Bequia's main port, is Port Elizabeth. It is a tranquil and quiet destination built along a picturesque little bay with forested hills behind. The most popular sights in town are the open-air market, which gives a very 18th-century feel, as well as the Belmont Walkway known for the town’s best shops and restaurants along Admiralty Bay. (B/L/D)

Kingstown is a small capital but offers a big appeal for visitors. It is wrapped around the bay on the south-western coast of St. Vincent. The busy harbour provides the town with a vibrant ambience and the waterfront offers a variety of possibilities for shopping, dining, and water sports. St. George's Anglican Cathedral, one of the town’s highlights, was built in 1820 and is an outstanding example of Georgian architecture. (B/L/D)

Today, you’ll explore one of the wildest and most pristine parts of Union Island – Chatham Bay. It welcomes visitors with its picture-perfect turquoise waters and a white-sand beach surrounded by green hills. The coastline located north of the bay is also known for snorkelling. Many species can be observed in its clear waters (porcupinefish, Moray eels, angelfish), and one can even see lobsters, which seem to enjoy inhabiting the bay’s rocky seabed. (B/L/D)

Mayreau is the smallest of the Grenadines’ uninhabited islands, with a surface area of only 4 square kilometres (1.5 square miles). The population of Mayreau is no more than 250 people who live in the village on the island’s highest hill, Station Hill. The charming little church and community centre at the top of the hill provide spectacular views over the islands.

On a clear day, one can see both Grenada and St. Vincent, as well as other nearby islands, showcasing the pretty colours of the reefs and waters around the Tobago Cays. Today you will enjoy a barbeque on shore together with your fellow travellers. (B/L/D)

The small, rural island of Carriacou boasts many fine beaches and gentle hills for one to discover. There are about 12,000 inhabitants on the island nowadays – as well as a large number of goats grazing around islands flora: cacti, acacia and bougainvillea. Hillsborough is not as crowded with tourists as other destinations in the Caribbean despite the friendly locals and its natural harbour. This allows you to enjoy the quiet beaches and a more peaceful discovery of the island. (B/L/D)

Your time aboard your Emerald Cruises luxury yacht comes to an end in Barbados. After bidding farewell to the crew and your fellow guests, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home. The itinerary is a guide only and may be amended for operational reasons. As such Emerald Cruises cannot guarantee the cruise will operated unaltered from the itinerary states above. (B)

Impressive ship and itinerary   5 , QLD, Australia, Jul 2024
This was our first time with Emerald Azzuarra having previously travelled on the Scenic Eclipse. We loved the relaxed and non crowded feel of Azzurra. Being a smaller ship it was able to go to ports the bigger cruise lines cannot reach which was fabulous. We realized how great this was when we visited places like Debrovnick and Split that had 3-4 read more other big cruise lines in port and the places were PACKED! This itinerary was fabulous. We travelled mostly overnight and woke up each morning to a postcard view of a new town. The Croatian coastline and towns were stunning. Montenegro was just as beautiful, and whilst Albania was interesting , one day was perfect. Coming through the Corinth Cananl with only centimetres to spare on either side was a highlight.

The Emerald Azzurra crew were also amazing. Friendly, personable and attentive. Nothing was a problem for them. There are a few things Emerald need to work on such as food choices and consistency of quality though. We were told they are bringing people from Scenic Eclipse to elevate the experience. Emerald Azzurra is not in the class of Scenic Eclipse yet but has all the elements to be just as impressive with a bit more work. Overall we loved the trip and would travel with Emerald again.
My Perspective   5 , QLD, Australia, Jun 2024
My wife and I have just returned from our cruise on board the Azzurra. For my wife it was her first time on the open seas, and for me, an opportunity to experience small ship cruising with one of our long term cruise line partners. I'm the CEO of of Global Journeys, so I thought I should put in some extra effort and provide you with a thorough review read more of our experience on board and on shore. Our rating gives it away a bit...but it's not all smooth sailing! Read my full review here if you're interested, but if not, then suffice to say, small ship cruising with Emerald will be a new experience for many and we'd both recomend this cruise and the ship to our friends and family.
Amazing Azzurra 9 , VIC, Australia, May 2023
Eleven days of pure bliss, our expectations were surpassed on this voyage from Athens to Athens. We could not fault any aspect of our time aboard or any of the activities we enjoyed. Special mentions go to Karen (activities), Paul (chef & his crew) and Ozay in the spa.
