A must do, trip do it whilst you can.   1 , SA, Australia, May 2024
Our 17 day APT Kimberley and Top End trip was fabulous in every way. ‘Bertha’ (22 seater Mercedes coach 4WD high ground clearance) covered 3,750 km with comfort and ease. The scenery was spectacular, the meals amazing and our fellow travellers were great. The stand out was our driver/guide. He had so much knowledge and delivered his commentary with read more enthusiasm and passion coloured with anecdotal stories toboot. Leigh was without doubt the key to our successful journey and experiences. This trip was worth every penny and we take away fond memories which we will treasure for a very long time.
Saw lots of the Kimberley 1 , QLD, Australia, May 2024
The trip was great. We saw the Kimberley in all its glory, as well as snippets of Kakadu and Arnhem Land and the weather was perfect. The APT guides were really well organised and we had a good bunch of people on the trip. There was lots of laughter. The APT accommodation was spot on. It was go, go most of the time, but I guess it has to be, to see what you've paid for.
Well organized Tour Experience 1 , QLD, Australia, Jul 2022
With regards to the accommodation, the APT Lodges were the best with some outstanding meals. Scott our Guide/Driver was exceptional with his knowledge, skill, and attention to our needs. The bus was very comfortable and very suitable for the dirt roads. Again, we thank Global Journeys and APT for all the care given to us. People need to take seriously read more the fitness level required because some of the walks were strenuous and a few people had falls or needed assistance getting over rocks and along tracks. With regards to the accommodation, the APT Lodges were the best with some outstanding meals. We would definitely travel with APT, especially if Global Journeys arranged our booking!
APT Kimberley Kakadu Arnhem Land   1 , WA, Australia, Aug 2018
Fantastic trip. Accommodation wonderful glamping, food 1st class in the most remote places. Tour driver/leader Luke was exemplary, kind, considerate, extremely knowledgeable, entertaining & looked after us all perfectly. Group of 18 mixed well & had a lot of fun. We were sorry when it ended!
Wildlife experience   3 , QLD, Australia, Jul 2018
We both had a great time. Some of the walks were a little difficult but managed most of them. A bit dangerous at times for those older travelers. Food good, tour leader great and accommodation while comfortable sometimes a little cool in the evenings. Being better prepared for a couple of cold nights may have helped. Extra excursions (helicopter rides read more over Mitchell falls and Bungle Bungles) well worth it. Boat trips through gorges fantastic with the Ord river and Kununurra Dam trips very interesting with great commentary (plenty of Crocs too). A wonderful experience to visit Arnhem Land and the Aboriginal cultural centre with Ryan Sage a particularly knowledgeable guide. All in all a trip worth doing.
Once in a lifetime experience 1 , VIC, Australia, Jul 2016
Our tour with APT proved to be a great holiday. Our tour guide Garycould not have been more approachable, friendly and professional. His knowledge of local sites and traditions was first class and his ability to ensure we all enjoyed our time together was appreciated by all on the tour. The tented accommodation was great and the staff at all the APT read more camps were so accommodating and friendly. The Kimberley is such a spectacular place to visit with its magnificent gorges, the intriguing boab trees, never-ending termite mounds, the thought-provoking cave art and just the wide expanse of land we travelled through. Some of the walks into the gorges were a little challenging but with the support of our fellow travellers and our tour guide we were able to complete all the walks....Would we do it again? If the legs and the hips hold up- YES!!
