Loved the NZ experience. This Marvel tour includes lengthy periods of coach travel that I found more difficult than I expected. You are not provided with a detailed itinerary. Excellent driver with intelligent commentary. Tour director was hard to understand at times and talked to much about herself. We were given a one bed room in Auckland despite all other nights were twin ( as per booking ). Consider the additional costs of the optional recommended gratuity that you are reminded about.

Global Journeys handled our every need and question! This trip was one of the best I've experienced. AAT Kings provided an excellent tour guide, and I couldn't believe the skills of the bus drivers. Accommodations were perfect. I had a few suggestions for AAT Kings for future journeys: providing more information on the terrain on specific excursions; ...read more perhaps offering headphones for the hard of hearing; and providing name tags to ease getting acquainted with our fellow travelers.

Our tour of New Zealand was really great although we found the pace a little bit rushed and would more than likely drive ourselves next time, allowing for longer stops along the way. The accommodation was good in most cases except for the last place we stayed in Auckland the VR Queen Street Hotel & Suites. The Tour Leader and coach driver were both very helpful and knowledgeable which was really great, they made us feel really comfortable with lots of tips along the whole trip. Otherwise we'd more than likely book through Global Journeys again.

Excellent tour, guide and driver. The hotels and food were excellent. Great sightseeing and highlight events. Some great included trips. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic holiday from start to finish, everything was so well organised. Our tour guide Mel and our driver Mark were fantastic. There was a lot crammed into a short time-frame, but then I knew what it would be like having checked the map beforehand. Driver and Tour Director were really good. My friend and I were very fortunate to have Tania as our tour director and Mark as our coach driver for our 2 week New Zealand Marvel holiday. Everything was taken care off, the rooms, the transport, the meals, the advice on where to go and what to see when we reached our mini destinations along route. Tania was very knowledgeable, professional and ...read more a great laugh. She shared her experiences and knowledge with everyone on the trip, this made it a very informative and enlightening trip. Mark was an expert driver, he was proud of his coach and it was immaculate at all times. Mark was knowledgeable, informative and great fun, we had many laughs on our trip with Mark and Tania, they worked so well together. The holiday was an absolute bargain, I have no hesitation recommending this trip to anyone who wants to see the beautiful South and North Island of New Zealand. The package was planned perfectly to see the best of the Island, we were very fortunate to have great weather along our journey. Only wished we could have stayed longer, hopefully one day we will visit again.

We had an absolutely wonderful tour of New Zealand with Global Journeys. Marty and Megan, the director and bus driver were fantastic in every respect to make our experience sensational. We met a wonderful group of people who added to the great time we had. Nearly all the accommodation was great, especially the Mercure resort in Queenstown which was ...read more just sensational. The Mercure in Wellington was only just average. All the breakfasts were excellent with so much choice. All the included dinners were very good, with the Maori village dinner in Rotorua being a sensational experience. I could just rave and rave about so many of the experiences we had. Thanks to Georgie from Global Journeys who was so prompt in answering all my questions before we went.

I could have easily stayed there and worked on a farm. I am glad we had an extra day on the trip in Queenstown. I have no complaints about the food or the hotels except to attract tourists from Asia, perhaps a few Asian dishes in the menu would be helpful. I have certainly advertised the trip to family and friends. Thanks to all who did the organisation, I thoroughly enjoyed my New Zealand experience
