The Crown Princess is a large Ship with 3,080 passengers. Because of my need to use a mobility scooter, it was mandatory to have an Accessible Stateroom. These Staterooms are so much larger; the bathroom is large with a large walking shower and plenty of grab rails to hold for safety. Is cruising a good way to see Australia?

Australia has approximately 35,000 km of stunning coastline, is one of the larger countries in the world and is the only one of its size completely surrounded by water. The coastline includes the Pacific, Indian and Southern oceans and offers a huge diversity of reefs, natural landscapes and stunning cities which definitely makes it a fantastic cruise destination.

When is the best time to cruise Australia?

Although Australia is a year round cruise destination, the main cruise season is from October to April. The greatest selection of departures are available during these summer months which are perfect for visiting Australia's coastal towns and stunning beaches. By contrast, the winter months of May, June, July and August are best for cruising in the Northern Territory and Far North Queensland when the wet season is over and humidity is low.
