In response to current times and with the safety and comfort of their guests having the highest priority, Cosmos have established their worldwide On-Trip Assurance program. This ensures  enhanced protocols and procedures are practised on each trip so that guests can travel confidently and happily.

Cosmos are committed to ensuring that their hygiene practises and the cleanliness of all operations exceeds COVID-era travel standards—from start to finish. Read on to find out more about Cosmos’ dedication to providing a safe and clean environment for all guests.

A Warm, Safe Welcome

New tour check-in procedures and pre-trip health screenings will be in place to offer guests a safe start to their journey, including adherence to social distancing requirements.

Connect to Culture with Social Distance 


On the coach and during excursions, Cosmos will ensure safe distances for guests throughout the journey. This includes providing masks for guests to use at any time where social proximity could be an issue as well as the possibility of reducing group sizes, if required. Safe distances between guests and other travellers on excursions is enabled with wireless listening technology - including their Go Beyond Devices in Europe.  

A Focus on Everyone’s Health 

Cosmos will conduct regular temperature checks for both guests and the team, and when necessary, masks will be worn by their team when with guests. These steps ensure a healthy environment for the Cosmos team and their guests.

Touching Hearts, Not Hands 

Travelling with Cosmos already removes many of the “touch points” of travel, including luggage handling, check-in/out, expedited entry into attractions and more.  Cosmos are reducing your risk further by reducing risk with hands-free service, meaning all previous self-service experiences are replaced by staff, including buffet meals which will be replaced with table service. Cosmos will also ensure hand sanitising is available throughout your trip, on the coach and in the hotels.

Commitment to Cleanliness 

As a part of their commitment to elevated cleanliness, Cosmos are requiring enhanced cleaning procedures with hotel partners, on their motorcoaches, vehicles and throughout every trip, including additional daily disinfecting procedures that go above-and-beyond their already strict health and safety procedures.

Cosmos has always focussed on ensuring all aspects of their operation – from the vehicles and equipment used on your trip to the excursions and hotel procedures - met their strict health and safety protocols. These processes will continue with new, elevated health and safety checks, to maintain a promise that each touch point of a Cosmos tour and cruise is considered in their commitment to guest and team member wellbeing.

Guests can be assured that Cosmos will continue to review and update their global Assurance initiatives as they make their return to travel. They are committed to adhere to – and build upon – the standards set forth by the official travel and health agencies across the globe, including the European Centre for Disease Prevention (ECDC), the U.S. Center for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA).
