Arrive at Zurich Airport. If your cruise includes a group arrival transfer or if you have purchased a private arrival transfer, you will be greeted by a Uniworld representative and transferred to The Dolder Grand Hotel. Perched like a castle on the hill above Zurich, this hotel offers a quiet, relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy its many bars and dining venues, excellent spa or nature trails. And with its own funicular, private cars and shuttle services, it's as convenient a location for exploration as any in the city center.
As Switzerland's financial capital, Zurich boasts the highest population in the country. Yet, while it rivals any other European metropolis, the city also has a unique charm. Historic and modern architecture mingle in the streets, all set on the shores of an expansive lake against a background of snow-capped alps.
