Welcome to Germany and Munich. Upon arrival, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your centrally-located hotel in the Bavarian capital for your included two-night stay. Later, enjoy meeting your fellow guests and tour director for a convivial welcome drink.

Soak up the sights of Munich and the world-famous Oktoberfest on today's included excursion. Later, you may wish to explore this historic Bavarian capital at your own pace. Perhaps enjoying more of the legendary Bavarian hospitality in the city's traditional beer halls or strolling through the historic Old Town. Your tour director will be more than happy to help you plan your explorations in Munich.

After breakfast, join an included panoramic tour of Munich that showcases the former Olympic site, Nymphenburg Palace, Maximilianstrasse, the Parliament, the National Theatre and Munich's Residenz. During today's guided walking tour, stroll the Marienplatz Square and see the famous Glockenspiel. After the guided tour, you'll head to the world-famous Oktoberfest grounds, where you will enter the tent to celebrate this iconic beer festival like a true local and enjoy a typical Oktoberfest meal.

This morning, after breakfast, it's time to say farewell to your fellow guests as you will be transferred from Munich to Regensburg, ready for your exciting river cruise ahead. As you embark on your luxury Emerald Star-Ship, you'll be warmly welcomed on board by your friendly captain and crew. This evening, meet your fellow guests for a welcome dinner on board.

Set out on foot to discover the highlights of Regensburg. Wander the streets with your guide, as the romantic narrow alleys of the World Heritage-listed Old Town and 13th-century Town Hall invite you to live through the city's history. The highlight of your tour will be the 12th-century Stone Bridge, a medieval structure crossing the Danube. Followed by a Bavarian sausage tasting experience at a local restaurant for a taste of the region's flavours. Activity Level: Easy, Duration: 2 hours

Passau is a picturesque city that has been shaped by the surrounding rivers over the years, situated right on the confluence of the Danube, Inn and Ilz. This memorable destination is dominated by large squares, magical promenades and romantic lanes. Cobblestone streets and graceful arcades welcome you in the beautiful city of Passau.

Return for lunch on board and an afternoon peacefully cruising along the Danube.

On this morning's walking tour, stroll through streets lined by Baroque buildings dating back to the 17th century and look at the Gothic Town Hall, Bishop's Residence and St. Stephen's Cathedral, a wonderful example of Baroque architecture and home to the largest church organ in Europe.

Alternatively, those feeling active can join a picturesque e-bike tour along the River Inn, one of the three rivers converging in Passau.

Nestled within Austria's famed Wachau Valley, Melk offers a fascinating glimpse into centuries of history. Tracing its origins to Roman times and early medieval rulers such as the Babenbergs, this vibrant town charms with its blend of stunning Baroque architecture, wonderful river views and rich cultural heritage.

Later, cruise through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Wachau Valley before arriving in Dürnstein, one of the most enchanting villages in the Wachau wine region.
