The capital of Sardinia, Cagliari comes prettily sandwiched between rolling verdant hills and the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. For a unique culinary experience, sample some of the traditional local dishes, such as malloreddus (Sardinian gnocchi) and porceddu (roast suckling pig).
