After boarding, enjoy a welcome cocktail while meeting your cruise team, before savoring a delicious dinner in the elegant panoramic restaurant.
The Famous Nürnberg Christmas Market
In the morning, a city tour introduces you to Nürnberg's beautifully decorated landmarks. No visit would be complete without a stop at the renowned Christkindlmarkt: enjoy local delicacies, admire traditional crafts, and discover regional specialties. After lunch, return to your ship as it sets sail toward Regensburg.
Christmas Market at the Princely Palace Thurn & Taxis
At breakfast, you arrive in the Bavarian city of Regensburg, one of Germany's best-preserved medieval towns. A guided walking tour takes you through the winter-decorated old town. In the afternoon, a visit to the Princely Palace Thurn & Taxis introduces you to one of the region's most charming Christmas markets—a festive highlight not to be missed. Later, return to your AMADEUS ship as it departs Regensburg after dinner.
Festive Passau
In the morning, reach the romantic “City of Three Rivers,” Passau, where the Danube, Inn, and Ilz converge spectacularly. After breakfast, a guided walk explores the picturesque old town. Following lunch, enjoy some free time to wander through Passau's beautifully decorated Christmas market before the ship departs for Austria.
Mulled Wine, the Wachau & Viennese Music
Wake up to breathtaking views over Austria's Wachau Valley. From Emmersdorf, take a winter-themed excursion through the region, visiting the magnificent Melk Abbey or the charming wine village of Dürnstein. As your ship cruises through the idyllic valley, join us for a festive mulled wine party on board. In the early evening, arrive in Vienna, with the option to attend the “Sound of Vienna” concert.
Schönbrunn Palace & Vienna's Christmas Market
Today is all about the imperial charm of wintery Vienna. A guided bus tour along the Ringstrasse showcases grand landmarks such as the State Opera, Parliament, Burgtheater, and the impressive City Hall. After lunch, a walking tour reveals the heart of the city: the Hofburg, Kohlmarkt, Graben, and the iconic St. Stephen's Cathedral, with time for a stroll along the pedestrian streets. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the festive wonder of the Christmas Market at Rathausplatz, with beautifully decorated stalls, regional treats, and the inviting scent of mulled wine.
The evening concludes on board with an elegant gala dinner, followed by a Viennese waltz class—an enchanting way to savor the Advent spirit.
Disembarkation after breakfast
It's time to say goodbye. After a final breakfast, disembark and begin your journey home, carrying with you the warmth of the season and unforgettable festive memories.
